What will Disney announce for Disney World at the 2022 D23 expo?

New and different, please. If I want to go to Cars Land, I fly to California to see the real thing. Now if you want to build a forest moon of Endor (speeder bike) coaster over there next to Star Tours and a Wicket M&G, count me in.

I think (my opinion) they have enough SW at the moment. And that comes from a huge SW fan here. I think that the next park expansion should be something that is not from any other Disney park. As to what that should be, I do not know but we have enough clones (I'm looking at you Tron).

Isn't a speeder bike coaster just Tron re-themed? Not sure how you'd tie Wicket into anything at DHS though.

Every coaster is the same basic idea with just a different configuration of tracks. Theming is what differentiates them. If you need it to be themed. Otherwise, who balks at more coasters? Most theme parks would be out of business!

If Carsland won't fit in any of the parks, then Pixar Pier certainly won't fit either...
WDW has the blessing of size...so why can't they enlarge DHS?
Actually when you scale out the google earth views of DHS and California adventure, it becomes very clear that the entirety of Carsland would actually fit very nicely in the space currently occupied by Indiana Jones Stunt Show and Star Tours. It even leaves enough space for a smaller Muppets courtyard (or better yet move Muppets to Animation Courtyard where they belong)...this includes all of Carsland including Flo's V-8...and leaves Prime Time just off Route 66...It also doesn't touch the existing buildings for Sounds Dangerous and the frozen sing along, or the Sci Fi Dine in ... it also doesn't encroach into the parking lot and would create a grand vista from the park's Hub...View attachment 628652
Yeah…unfortunately Bob is about $2,000,000,000 short In petty cash for all that. So disappointing.

I think they made their intentions well known at MGM about 4 years ago…when they rerouted the traffic and added the ski lift…

And it isn’t going to be renovation anytime in my lifetime

I would maybe prefer the next park expansion for Florida be a Marvel themed land. They don't already have that at another park do they?

There are literally about 50 different variations on coaster ride systems. FYI

Yes. But it's still the same basic concept. We are moving at a fast rate of speed along a track doing twist, turns, drops, loops, etc. So while there could be two bike "themed" coasters, they can be configured (ride vehicle, system used, track layout) and themed to be completely different.

IMO what WDW needs is rapid expansion in Epcot and Animal kingdom to make them full day parks not a new Park. By adding 4-5 new or fully reimagined rides to each of these parks they could add 15000 ( 7500 per park ) new visitors and you wouldn't even see them due to sufficiently large queue's that hold the people out of the park's walk ways. A 3 billion investment and you would gross 600 million in new ticket sales a year let alone food and merch and hotel revenue . They don't need a new park just finish the monsters they have. They need to bite the bullet and play catch up, then they can go back to slow pace maintenance add on's. But this is what a Marty Sklar would do, not these jokers of today.
