What will Disney announce for Disney World at the 2022 D23 expo?

They're working on a replacement for Shrek-4D now and added two new coasters to IoA in the last 3 years, so I'm hopeful they won't just ignore their existing parks.
They also have tinkered again with adding perhaps an add on area to Diagon and/or finally redoing the kidszone

I trust Comcast to “not rest” much more than disney these days. They value their parks much more for potential. Shocking to say that

There’s also the prospect of the Fantastic Beasts ride being relocated to Universal Studios Florida.

I thought that was cancelled again? I sure hope it happens though.

Mostly meant those comments for the studios park. Every IOA addition has been good to amazing. IOA is in a fairly good state, the Studios need major work.

Tokyo DisneySea has always been Magic Kingdom 2.0. Mermaid Lagoon of course just isn't that grand of a Fantasyland stand-in. The through line of sub-genres with a general connective tissue (Seas) is what prevents it from merely becoming Islands of Adventure.

DHS is becoming islands of Adventure. Which, I personally don't think is necessarily a bad thing.
I was actually referring to Fantasy Springs more than Mermaid Lagoon. Mermaid Lagoon I equated to Mickey's Toontown.

As for a bold prediction: I think Mystic Manor is going to DAK. I have zero inside info, but it feels right to me.

Oh yes I understood that! Simply meant they are revisiting it now and putting in a large scale Fantasyland for TDS. It was always sort of in the blueprint anyways since the park is a spiritual MK Successor. There's a reason it's pretty much the only second gate around that can keep up with a castle park.

Cars takes place in America! Epcot has an America! CARS AMERICAN ADVENTURE ROAD TRIP CONFIRMED

I don't like the Cars movies and I love history but the American Adventure is like a nice short nap or relaxing from the crowds and heat. Though it's waaaayy better than Hall of Presidents.

Just wait till you see the animatronic Lightning McQueen climb a set of stairs to harass Thomas Jefferson about how long he’s taking to draft the Declaration of Independence. KACHOW!

Give me a Cars Land East, and I'd be a happy camper!
What about an east coast version of Pixar Pier with 1) Incredicoaster, 2) Monster's Ride Go Seek from Tokyo with special drink location like Olga's Cantina, 3) Pixar Pals Ferris Wheel, 4) Up/House drop ride attraction and an original mini Cars land with Flo's Cafe and a mini Radiator Spring attraction. This one is more akin to antique cars with indoor outdoor section where's Cars interact with guest. If room, add a black box live stage show attraction venue (like Bourne) that can potentially rotate IP's on an annual basis to showcase other IP's. If this stage show was too large, build a micro Bugs land playland with a few flat rides.

If Carsland won't fit in any of the parks, then Pixar Pier certainly won't fit either...
WDW has the blessing of size...so why can't they enlarge DHS?
Actually when you scale out the google earth views of DHS and California adventure, it becomes very clear that the entirety of Carsland would actually fit very nicely in the space currently occupied by Indiana Jones Stunt Show and Star Tours. It even leaves enough space for a smaller Muppets courtyard (or better yet move Muppets to Animation Courtyard where they belong)...this includes all of Carsland including Flo's V-8...and leaves Prime Time just off Route 66...It also doesn't touch the existing buildings for Sounds Dangerous and the frozen sing along, or the Sci Fi Dine in ... it also doesn't encroach into the parking lot and would create a grand vista from the park's Hub...
