What should Disney do with the next new resort to target adults???

Being that the new suites at AoA have finally been shown to the world, and there are people here in another thread who have opinions on both sides as to whether they're appealing or not- obviously these are targeted toward families with kids.

So, what 'adult' themeing would you like to see in Disney's next resort to target those without kids? And 'adult' theming in the not nasty sense of the word! :hammer:

What do you think they'll do or what would YOU like for them to do with the next resort?

I have an idea, that would be a kind of World Showcase Resort inspired by several EPCOT pavilions:

Disney's Old Europe Resort. A moderate resort with the typical layout, "villages" in their typical local theming and design and a central building for the major facilities.

The different villages are:

England with buildings in a cottage and tudor style.

Germany with the timberframe style that is so typical for many historic cities in Germany.

France with buildings like they are typical for the Southern France mediterranean seabord

Italy with the style of a toskana renessaince town

The last one could be either Norway, Russia or Greece, I couldn't decide yet.

The major pool would be a mixture of several European landmark buildings.

Maybe need a different name. "Old Europe" was Donald Rumsfeld's disparaging term for these countries.

I do like the idea of a World Showcase themed resort. That would interest me. After looking at the room pictures of the AoA, it was a little too much for me. I don't travel with young children and I do understand the need for a theme that would appeal to everyone but something along the lines of the World Showcase would be a nice change.

I think they already made a half hearted attempt at this with that recent redo of the Contemporary. Turning a portion into that modern eco health club space. That did target a growing segment of the population that they didn't have anything for already.
I think adults are a tougher nut to crack. Any over the top theming either targets hard core Disney fans (who already go) or kids (ditto). Much more subtle theming is already present with the assorted deluxe resorts.
As awesome as an adventures club themed resort would be, it treads way to close to the Poly.
The european village type resort could be pretty cool, but they would need to go all in. Taking a rectangle and just tossing some steeped roofs with old shingle walls wouldn't cut it. Need the different depths, rickety feeling, etc.
But I don't think its so much the theme of the resort, as it would be the options at the resort. Spa, dining, nightlife, etc. I think that is what they would really need to bring back to target adults. A well laid out and designed resort will do great with minimal theming, IF they have the other options that would target adults.

I love this idea. I think Disney could do an excellent job with the themeing.

As an adult, I don't really wanted themed rooms. I think the rooms at YC and Wilderness Lodge are fine the way they are.

I would like to see adult amenities offered at the 'adult' themed hotel.
I would like a bar that is open until 3 am.
The hotel should have 3 or 4 signature restaurants with amazing unique cuisine.
I would like in room spa services offered.
A luxurious bathroom with whirlpool tubs and plush robes.
I am not a pool person, but a beautiful pool with a swim up bar would be nice.
I know most people won't care, but I would like a nightclub where I can dance the night away.
Free wireless in all of the rooms.

most of these dont seem very "Disney" to me
It is supposed to be a fun place to bring a family
If you want more adult theming universal seems more of a fit for you
Personally i prefer the ambience of the disney resorts....just my 0.02 cents
