As nice as DLP's castle is my vote goes to WDW!

What is your favorite park castle?

I know the castles in DL and HKDL are very similar and WDW and TDL are very similar but I believe there are some differences.

All three are awesome in their own respect. DL's is the original. Walt chose that one. Although it's smaller, and maybe not as intricate as the other's it's all nostalgia. I know that when I do go to Disneyland, a ton of good feeling will be had when I finally see the ORIGINAL.
MK's is THE castle, IMHO. It's imposing, towering, and just screams Disney at you. :lol: It's meant to be the icon for the crown jewel of WDW and it treated as such. I love how you can see it everywhere and is the realization of a bigger dream- Walt Disney World.
DLP's castle is wonderful as well...Although it is much more flowing and more whimsical, it just does not have the impact that WDW's has. Extra plusses for it involve it's landscape, though.
Vote for WDW.

Hmmm... well, when you watch a Walt Disney Pictures movie, which castle design is most closely copied and depicted at the beginning? Whenever a story regarding Disney as a whole is reported on, which castle is shown? In their recent promotional campaigns, which castle is the castle in the clouds?

In all honestly, each has its own qualities, but Cinderella Castle is everything a castle should be: grand, elegant, and imposing. A perfect icon.

Cinderella Castle in WDW! Maybe it's just because I grew up wanting to live in it, but it will always be the best one to me.

Agreed! Plus, I haven't been to a Disney park outside of the US so I'm only basing my decision on WDW and DL alone.

Actually it's a combo of all the castles.
Ther are parts of WDW, DL and DLP in there.
DL USED to have the spot, though.

WDW is my favourite place to be, but the castle at DLP has so much more to offer. There is the upstairs with its story of Sleeping Beauty and 'magic mirror'. The ground floor with the Christmas and the Crystal shops; and then down in the dungeon with the animatronic dragon in its lair, and all connected by creepy staircases. They made very good use of the space and it looks great too!

Ah, true. I do love the fact that they have a huge hub, but honestly, I wish our castle was back to it's old solid white.

The biggest differences are the paint colors

Oh of course WDW's. DL is nice and quant(sp) and is the original, but at the MK pretty much anywhere you go in the park, you can see the castle, and is as it should be. I kinda wish HKDL and TDL had their own unique castles, so far the only unique one is the one in paris and imo that one is ugly.
Lol, so by saying the one in MK is my fav. than that automatically makes the one in Tokyo my fav. too lol.

Thanks for that. I was actually going to say that all the logo castles are combinations of the three designs, so the company really isn't showing bias to any one castle.
I voted for Disneyland's. WDW's is definitely large and imposing and intimidating, but I really like the quaint atmosphere of Disneyland's. It really fits in with the feel of the rest of the park perfectly.
That's not to say that WDW's castle is great. I'm astounded by it every time I set eyes upon it, but Disneyland's just edges it out by THAT much.
I haven't yet seen Paris's castle, but I have a feeling that when I do, the various unique features of it will probably make it number one. I am dying to climb up those stairs and see the park from the second story!
