What is the plan for Innoventions East and West?

I hate how that corner of the park by Coral Reef is a dead end. Maybe they will make a new entrance to the building for that area.
I doubt it. It'll be back of house.

Also, do you know if there will be any updates or additions to the fiber optics in the sidewalks?
I'd imagine they will all be removed. Anything Innoventions is destined for the scrap heap.

There will be a new show. Who sponsors it I don't know.
Will it be full of IPs or something that actually fits Epcot? The show better be pretty damn amazing and memorable to top ROE. On the other hand it is fitting that a show about the history of the earth should end its run right around the time it looks like the world will legitimately end.

Ha, yeah, I've said before when Martin's talked about the changes for the entranceway/Innoventions area that the one thing I'll regret seeing changed, most likely, is the BGM around the Plaza. It's certainly dated, but that area leading up toward World Showcase is one of my favorite places to just stand/sit/meander and appreciate the atmosphere in...well, just about anywhere, not just in WDW.

There are so many potential changes coming to EPCOT that really gut me when I hear about them, but updates to the entranceway and Innoventions bring a smile to my face. I can't wait for Innoventions to stop feeling so claustrophobic, to get some light, life, and energy in there. I hope they bring a lot of hands-on things to interact with, some random art or other curiosities, or just other things that make you want to slow down, relax, and take in your surroundings. Here's hoping.

The music is one of the few inspirational things left in the park. I'll miss it when it leaves.

The other thing I'm going to miss if it does get removed is the fiber optic lights in the sidewalk

Ok so anything Inventions will be removed. So what does this say about the future attractions? Will they be more walkthrough based experiences like Inoventions /Meet and greets or more ride based? If we are talking rides, are we talking something on the order of omnimovers or something of a more thrilling nature?

Also you mentioned the area by the Coal reef restaurant would be off stage. Are you just speaking of the current off stage bus loop and cast break area or will the off stage area in that corner be growing for some reason?

From what I know there will be no new "rides" in the buildings.

Sorry, Coral Reef area will be onstage as it is today. The West Communicore building could extend in that direction (an addition to the 1994 extension) and wouldn't feature a new entrance since what's inside it in that area would be backstage.

Ahh thank you for the clarification.
