Jim Macphee is pushing RFID technology on the parks in a Billion dollar project where they will work with DDK technologies to add RFID elements to several different attractions in the area.

Either that or the Camel thing.

Jim MacPhee - VP of E.P.C.O.T.
One billion dollars - new country ?
RFID tech - new ride ?
initials DDK - have no clue

my theory
it could be that the VP of E.P.C.O.T.
is announcing a new country
with a new ride code named DDK:drevil:

Jim MacPhee isn't VP of Epcot anymore...hasn't been for at least a year IIRC.
He's instead been working on some tech role for Disney, which explains part of this I think.

DDK= Dance Dance Kingdom?

$1B is an odd number. Too big for an attraction---and probably even a new land. Too small for a gate. For perspective: it's the number being devoted to DCA's overhaul.

Could be a very broad roll-out of RFID tickets throughout large chunks of the resort, but it seems as though Disney doesn't often do that without some pilot tests first. But, I'm guessing that this is a resurrection of the Night Kingdom idea in some other form.

One hump or two?
Watch out, they spit!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Oh, and by the way, DDK stands for Driver Development Kit, which is now technically called Microsoft Windows Driver Kit. Whether it relates to this, I don't know, but considering RFID is also mentioned, it stands to reason its technology related.

If its not technology related, DDK, if I remember correctly, is one of the largest paint manufacturers in Italy.
