Wow tough question!
What I like the most is the entire experience of Disney and being a part of that whole World for the time we're on vacation. I love all aspects of WDW rides, resorts, dining, transportation, shows, and more. I can't settle on just one!

I agree..that IS a tough one. It's all that goes on that makes the Disney experience....well, the experience! However, I DO have some absolute have to do must see favorites...
Osborne Lights - hands on awe inspiring.
Cinderella's Castle - although I have a tough time with crowds at MK, there is nothing like seeing the castle for the first time during your trip, even if you've seen it every year for 10 years!
Epcot's World Showcase. It's beautiful and there are many places to try new things out as far as food and entertainment. This year we ate at Teppan Edo which was yummmy (definitely doing it again!) AND my daughter had a magical experience with Myuki the candy lady. She is SO sweet!
Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom. One of my favorite coasters. My daughter and I actually rode it 4x in one day over Thanksgiving....COOL!

Anyways, those are a few of my fave things!:)

When I was younger I liked being there because of all the cool attractions.
As I got a little older and got more job security and better pay, I liked being there for the shopping as well as the attractions.

Now that I am getting old, I just like being there.
I could go there now and not ride a single ride or buy a single thing.
I could walk through the parks now and just take in all the beauty and Magic.
I could spend days just exploring all the differant resorts without ever going to a park.

Of course I still ride my favorite attractions, and Epcot will always still be my favorite park, and I still spend tons of money in the gift shops. I'm just saying that the best part of Disney World for me now is just relaxing, people watching, and taking in all that Disney has to offer. I don't "Plan" anything any more. I just wake up in my resort room and ask my wife..."well honey..whatta ya wanna do today?" and Isn't that how a vacation is supposed to be?:)

I love the atmosphere of Disney, the great feeling of being there.

But if I could only pick one thing, it would have to be meeting the characters.

It a place where I feel like a little kid again. My imagination comes to life and make believe becomes real. It's the colors the characters and a place where I feel connected to everyone and everything. Child hood fantasies are real and the it a place where you feel at peace and truly find your laugh that comes from with in. Disney is a special place that is hard to describe, it's a place where old is new and new is future. It's a place where pirates live and Peter Pan Soars, Imagination is set loose and and a place where I can sail over the world and then dive into the seas. I become part of the ride and part of the excitement and most of all one of the many smiling faces.

If I have to choose just one thing...it is the amazing attention to detail that Disney has.

Everything from the smells, sounds, pavement, colors, costumes, decorations, architecture, props, and smiles on the faces of the CMs...
all the little things that didn't have to be there...and yet they make you feel completely immersive in another time or place.

Hard to pick any one thing, I enjoy just being away from the hustle of everyday life for starters. We drive down, so the anticipation is exciting as well. Then the payoff the first time you drive thru the entrance welcoming to WDW!

Finding something new that you have never done before, while still doing old favorites! Then you get home and see other's pics and realize there are several more things that you didn't do! lol Just gives you another reason to come back! :ROFLOL:

Couldn't agree more. This is pretty much the same way I feel. there is nothing better than being at Disney. Everything around you is so great that it is really difficult to select one specific thing.

Hmm hard one...It can be as simple as just sitting on a bench in any of the parks, looking around, seeing the faces on kids and folks, the scenery, hearing the music, etc., or it could be being together with my family and enjoying ourselves to the max.

The convenience. Once you pass under the sign it is almost carefree for the length of stay. Dining, entertainment, lodging and shopping, it's all there with variety. The only worries are reservations.

That is tough, I would probably say the overall experience which includes the rides. When I go, its all about the rides, and the fastpasses, and getting from point a to b to ride said rides, and I dont really slow down and take in all the details as much anymore. But the overall experience for me is still good. Its an undescribeable feeling I get when Im there. Its hard to explain but Im sure you guys know exactly what Im talking about. The sad thing for me is, however, I've gone a lot. Me and my dad have gone several times by ourselves through the years, and I still have memories of the family trips we take that include my mom and brother and maybe an extended family member but they dont shine as bright anymore. Just now I was remembering my first trip on space mt. back in 1998 in april. It was a family trip, and I remember it.

But still, I enjoy going, and the overall experience is what I cherish the most.
