What did you do?

Ran a 5K/3.1M match in 23:20.

Despite 4 weeks of no training and quite a contusion on my foot since 2 weeks, it went great.

Oh no - what did you do to your foot? Hope it’s better in two weeks 😀.

Ran 4 miles today. There was a head wind when I got down by the lake ... which completely died down to no wind when I turned around 😡.

Bumped into the boat while we went swimming two weeks ago. Never had any issues with it or pain from it, but it has been an enormous bruise ever since.

Wind is, after the sun, the most annoying thing while running.

Hope the bruise goes away before DLP.

And I agree that wind and sun are annoying, the MOST annoying is when eyeglasses fog up!

Murphy’s law - didn’t have a run planned but spent lots of time sitting at my desk and decided to walk home instead of take the bus. So of course EVERY light was green as I came up to intersections. Such perfect timing rarely happens when I run home ...

Sorry I've been missing in action lately. Still keeping up the running despite the fact that the daily temps haven't dropped below 100 in weeks. I get up super early to run or jump on the treadmill. Even in the wee hours, it takes so much out of me to run that I am exhausted for much of the day after. But I'm hoping things cool off a tad this month finally.

Where are you from? I have kind of the opposite coming up to the Marathon in January. When I ran in 2018, (yes, I wanted the 25th anniversary medal), I was only a little cold standing in the 40 degree temps. I come from New Hampshire and luckily got the last flight
out of Boston before the closed the airport due to a snow storm.
