Watching last leg of Boston. Not weather I'd want to run 26.2 miles in...it's really pouring now.
I agree; I've trained in pouring rain but I like to know that I can stop if I want to. Hopefully it isn't a cold rain!
42 degrees F.
That's not very warm in the rain ...
I will never qualify for Boston.
10 slow miles Saturday in beautiful weather, 60F at start. Weights on Sunday, storm rolls in, it's cold again!

What the qualifying limit for Boston?

LOL, yes a year and a half ago. I figured out some work-arounds for the biggest problems, but I still hate it.Wasn't that like 2 years ago?
Feel better!Made a wrong move at the end of my back workout and I'm struggling with quite nasty pains in my shoulder.
2@0@10 today. Nothing big, but knee was stiff so just tried to shake it out.
Big Kudos to everyone who ran Boston yesterday, and huge props to USA for making a strong showing. Be interested to see what the experts say in terms of the other elite runners, wonder why the Kenyans/Ethopians didn't do so good this year.

There are the time standards you need to meet, and then it's a rolling registration. Fastest runners take priority up until they hit their limit. I think there were about 5k runners this year who applied to register, but weren't accepted because faster runners took priority.
