What did you do?

7 miles today @ 11:02 pace. Much better run than my weekend run! I needed it today. Woke up to being furloughed, then my dog got sprayed by a skunk and when I came inside there was cat puke all over the kitchen. One of those mornings! The evening ended on a better note with a good run. My house is still a bit stinky as is the dog. :grumpy:

No run for me today. But I did teach my first yoga class :D. Fourteen VERY chatty 6 year old girls. I think it went well. At least I know my daughter had a great time.

How exciting! That's wonderful!

5 miserably slow miles last night. The emphasis on legs for Mon/Tues crossfit took a toll on me. Legs were heavy and I just wanted it to be done.

Rest day today and back at it tomorrow.

Didn't run yesterday. Instead let my bruised hip rest a bit. Got tagged in TKD on Monday. I am getting slow in my old age.

Back to TKD again tonight.

Got in a 3.75 mile run in this morning followed by a 1.25 mile walk with Nola.
Can't believe the weather here in NJ. 80 degrees in the beginning of October...I'll TAKE IT!

On the one hand I appreciate the summer temps, but on the other hand, it is supposed to be 80 degrees here and humid this weekend, and I was counting on some nice cool Fall weather for a long run.

I want my Fall weather dammit.

Anyway, I hiked to day. It begins my two day taper for Oil Creek 100 this weekend. Goal is to run hard and fast through those mountains to sub 22hrs. Pain, possible puking and passing out is probable, so my wonderful wife is prepping for said issues.
For those connected to me on fb, my wife will be posting my progress and the mayhem under my name. Keep the comments coming as they will help during mile 82 to the finish, provided I make it that far again.

If you're comfortable during your runs, you are slacking off. Tomorrow is never a guarantee, so kiss your spouse, tell your kids you love them, and run your into the ground until you are in tears.

I would think 100 miles would be a piece of cake for you now after the McNaughton. ;)

Just kidding...really we (me, Chris, Bella & Willow) are wishing you the best of luck this weekend. We'll be heading up to Massachusetts for the weekend but I will be sending good thoughts your way. Tell Allison to text me updates if she doesn't mind. I'm not sure if I'll have access to a computer while I'm away.

Oh--and I think it's going be unseasonably warm again this weekend. Sorry!

Good luck Nick. I'll be following the fb updates.

As for me, 3.25 miles today. The 80+ degree heat felt worse than it did all summer just because I'd gotten used to 60 degree Fall temps lately. Sigh.

Long day of driving. Spending the night at my parents in Orlando before boarding a cruise at Port Canaveral tomorrow. Went to Diwmtiwn Disney tonight to see some friends and watched fireworks from the top of Buena Vista Palace. Just some light stretching tonight to work out the kinks of the long ride. I'll run in the morning before we head to the boat.
