Realityland by David Koenig (at home)
The Witching Hour by Anne Rice (at work when it's slow)
Little Earthquakes by Jennifer Weiner (in the car, I love to sit in the park and read after work, and chicklit is great to relax with =)

Yes, all at once. I don't know why. I've always had at least three books to read. Book ADD, I guess.

My DH & both princesses all read multiple books and can keep everything straight. I have no clue how the do it. They all have reading scores that are off the board and no ADD among them.

Hehehehe...I must have book ADD too,

Dean Koontz was my bother's favorite author. He read almost every book he's written.

That's my goal too!

I've only read two of Steinbeck's books, The Pearl and Of Mice and Men.
My reviews:
The Pearl - :hurl: :hurl: :hurl:
Of Mice and Men - :D  :D
I have heard WONDERFUL things about East of Eden.

Yeah,the Pearl sucked.

And YES!!! East of Eden was probally the best of his novels and it deffinatly one of my favorite books.

I just finished Ghost Rider by Neil Peart, the drummer of the band Rush. He wrote this book after both his wife and daughter passed away. He got on his motorcycle and rode all through Canada, the US and Mexico, then back, sorting out his life and putting the pieces back together.

An amazing read. (His other book The Masked Rider, about a bicycle tour he took through Africa, is good as well.)

I'mm be reading The Maltese Falcon next.

As someone who isn't a fan of most things by Steinbeck that I have read, East of Eden is by far one of my favorite books.

Currently I am reading A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore. It is very funny.

I finished The Assistant by Bernard Malamud last night, and just read (in less than an hour) The Shepherd, the Angel, and Walter the Christmas Miracle Dog by Dave Barry.
Next up is The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards. Looks quite good.

As someone who enjoys reading too much, I don't want to see this thread die.

I finished A Dirty Job recently. It was very funny and bizarre. I just started Stephen Colbert's I Am America (And So Can You). It is really hard to put down.

I've got a few books that I'm in the middle of or want to start but really should finish the others first...

The Man With the Golden Torc by Simon R Green (I started this one a while ago and I really do enjoy it. I think I just don't want it to end and that's why I haven't finished it yet.)

Gil's All Fright Diner by A. Lee Martinez (Werewolves and Vampires and Zombies, oh my!)

The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman (Yeah... I was going to read this before I saw the movie. But since I won't see the movie until it hits DVD, I've got time.)

Hell to Pay by Simon R Green (Part of a different series that he writes from the first book I mentioned. This was the series that made me a fan of his books. I think this is book 7 in the Nightside Series, I've kinda lost count, but I've loved all of them so far.)

The Onion: Our Dumb World. :zipit: :lookaroun

I've thumbed through it a couple of times while at the bookstore. I always manage to end up on the Sierra Leone page, and I can't help but laugh at the caption under the picture of the young girl. Then I feel bad for laughing.

Realityland by Davif Keoing. I loved his Mouse Tales series about Disneyland, now he is finally doing Walt Disney World with Realityland. His mOuse Under Glass book was great also.

It's some of the most shameful humour ever. I love it.
