Amish b-fast? Wow..bet i WAS a spread! We have a "clone" community that have stores and resturants that are kinda like that in a part of the sourthern corner of the state.

I went out to breakfast this morning with a friend and she insisted on picking up the check since it was my b-day; the waitress, upon hearing it was my b-day, brought me a small cake at the end of the meal! It's almost like being back at Disney again.

Pretty typical b-fast stuff - all very good. Except for the fruit - nothing can beat fresh fruit at WDW. :slurp:

So my day could *potentially* be very good.
I have an interview with a big company here in town. It's a huge company that has smaller associations- very diverse. I would be working with one of the associations. It was a situation where I was recommended for this position before they even posted the job. My friend who works there says it may be an interview where if they like me they offer me the job on the spot.
It would be a MUCH MUCH better job than what I have now: I would be using my background and skills which would be so great seeing as it's all going to waste at my current job, Regular Hours M-F 8-5, GREAT benefits, Job Security and More Vacation time. I may have to take a slight paycut but it would be worth it to have all of what I have listed (which isn't the case at my current job.) But I also have the ability working for such a large company to transfer to any of the other associations and other locations if an opportunity presented itself.
So if you can keep me in your prayers this afternoon, it would be much appreciated.

Long story short- it already feels like a complete blessing. I had a terrible Labor Day- no joke, every day of the holiday weekend I got work phone calls and with some other stuff that happened this week and last- I've had it with my current job/coworkers. A part of me really feels very optimistic about this new prospect [which is so unlike me.

I think it went pretty well. I met with 3 different people, but luckily I had prepared for all of their questions so I feel like I did good. They said they had to prepare more of what the role would specifically be. But they didn't say they had more people to meet with/ interview so that's good. I'm certainly very qualified for the position and I get the feeling that I conveyed that very well.
Anyway, now comes the waiting. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Ugh. What a day. Asher & I were in a car accident earlier on the way home from Target. It's raining here today so the roads are slick. Well we were sitting at a stop sign and a big pick-up was turning onto the street we were sitting on (didn't have a stop sign from where he was turning so he was going full speed) and he slid and was coming right for the front of the car. I have no idea how but somehow he got the wheel turned enough so that he only hit the front left. All I know is I saw this big truck bumper coming right at my front windshield. He was almost as shook up as me cuz he said he swore he was coming head-on and was thinking his big truck was going to go up on top of us. :dazzle: Meep! Asher slept through the whole thing 
Now I'm dealing w/ in-law drama. Again. :brick::brick:
