Me too...we were planning to go to Tenn. next summer and WDW in 2011...now I'm wondering if we should flip that around so Joel can get one more time on Donald's Boat. :shrug: I have no idea when Toontown will officially be closed. I am thrilled beyond belief though at the Dumbo area that is proposed. If we wait until 2013, Abby will be 16 and a junior that fall.....

.....my stomach's been bugging me too...not too severe, just enough to be annoying. I hope she's better very soon. :kiss:I think people are just busy with their respective lives, that's all.....I need to get book fair out of the way in the next month, then I should be able to take it easy on the school front for a while.

Well, sells lots and lots of books anyway.
We actually aren't taking a cash profit from this one....we'll make anywhere from 50-60% profit in Scholastic dollars....which can be used by our school librarian to purchase materials for the library. We'll also use that profit to fulfill teacher wish lists for books for their classrooms. That week is going to be so flippin' crazy...picture day on Tues, Open House Thursday night, and Grandpersons' Day on Friday. So the fair will be moved to the school gym on open house night, but will need to be moved back up to the second floor for the next day, so any grandparents can come upstairs to buy books if they want.
The biggest challenge will be getting enough volunteers. A lot of moms are now working fulltime because of the current economic situation. Open House is only an hour, but I need at least 8 helpers/half hour - I'll settle for 6 if I have to. We just have to be vigilant nobody tries to walk off with stuff. Which is sad.
