We did, but our friends had a scheduled move the day before we left to a different RV resort at MM70. They are still there. They went to KW today. She said it was weird and eerie. The storm track just moved East again and the keys are under a tropical storm warning. You made the right call.

You do know that was posted by somebody who bought about 35 pounds of tomatoes this weekendMost of those squirrels were smart.
Bonus points for the blue jay. Beautiful birds, but nasty as heck. They steal nests, and kick out any eggs that may already be there. They attack pets. And they take food from other animals. Notice he wasn’t interested in those crappy tomatoes either?
It’s just raw tomatoes I hate. You do know that was posted by somebody who bought about 35 pounds of tomatoes this weekend
Some was used for caponata, some will be used for rice and beans tomorrow, a couple will go on grilled cheese, a couple will get put aside for salads and the rest will get canned whole. These are really good tomatoes so sorry but yes raw in salad and maybe a few will get used in smoothies. It’s just raw tomatoes I hate.
Cook them … process them … can them … make sauce with them* … all good.
Raw …
* Please make sauce with them.
I have no idea. How big of a storm surge is dangerous for the Keys?
Hoping you and all y'all friends are and stay safe. There are no trees here. Everyone will secure their loose items and most have already pulled in their awnings. The campground has removed all pool loungers and secured all of the patio furniture on the premium sites. Storm surge is not a concern.
It’s all about the wind gusts. I’m probably going to get up and watch the news. Maybe have a long chat with the Man Upstairs … not just for our safety, but for our friends specifically, and all others in this storm’s path. May God protect us all.
Thank you. We had the same brilliant idea. (Great minds think alike.)@JenniferS , maybe go out today to a restaurant for a good lunch. (Just on the outside chance that the power goes down tomorrow, at least you will have had a great meal today, before you might need to eat meals from whatever non-perishables you have in the camper -- just for a day or two. ) You may not lose power at all, but this was just a passing thought only, that I had for your lunch today.
Please stay safe and dry. Sending prayers and pixie dust southWind speeds have increased for our area.
Potential wind of 58 to 73 mph.
Still most likely to be 30 to 40 mph.
That’s a big difference.
Can’t wait for this park to completely fill up. That’s more protection for all of us.
I took the pup for a quick walk about 1:00 am last night and noticed how much fuller we were. I heard a few more roll in overnight.
We are essentially “Port St. Lucie” on this map.
