@JenniferS --

Glad you made the decision to cut your vacation short in the Keys. According to this NPR report, the hurricane is supposed to pass over (through) the Keys in another day or so, and continue northward. Governor declared a state of emergency for Florida.

We went to the front desk to make sure our reservation was copacetic, as they had to merge the two bookend reservations (9/24 and 10/1), and then fill in the middle. All good.

Friendliest owners imaginable. That is one of the things I love about the KOA’s.

Anyway, saw this. Bought it. It’s a s’mores pillow.

Glad you left. My 2 sons and grand kids live in Gulf Breeze FL(panhandle) I hope the storm doesn't track west and put them in danger, still saying it will be a cat 1 when it makes land fall. Sure hope they are correct. Having gone through Hugo cat 4 I don't want anyone going through a 3 or 4 storm
Off topic - but I love Gulf Breeze! Sometimes work ‘requires’ me to travel there - always such a bummer. 😁

As Jimmy Buffet has said who has homes in Hawaii, Key West, Southern California he said he loves spending time in LA, Lower Alabama.

Four loads of laundry done. Mike caught up in the skivvies department, so I’m suspecting he had a pile somewhere last time that he neglected to give me.

Looks like we each brought Blue Jays tees, so we’ll have to co-ordinate for one of our Disney days. Yes, I am that loser.

We did not barbecue because it was too late when we got back from Walmart.

Except for bread and water, which was SOLD OUT, everything else was in stock. You can even get a jump on your Christmas decorating if you want.

If you need a Christmas tree, grab it now. At least around here they were sold out by mid-November at Walmart. And they either didn't get many more in, or they sold out so quickly you couldn't find them on the shelves.
