Botanically, a tomato is a fruit. However, in common parlance it is a vegetable; hence the United States Supreme Court ruled that a tomato is a vegetable for the purposes of the customs regulations.

here are some more Fruits for you to make smoothieSome was used for caponata, some will be used for rice and beans tomorrow, a couple will go on grilled cheese, a couple will get put aside for salads and the rest will get canned whole. These are really good tomatoes so sorry but yes raw in salad and maybe a few will get used in smoothies.
On the yes list tomatillos, peppers, squashes, cucumbers, chayote, AVOCADOS In season I make raw corn saladhere are some more Fruits for you to make smoothie
Tomatillos, Sweet pepper, Hot Peppers, Eggplants, Winter squashes (like butternut), Summer squashes (like zucchini)
Cucumbers, Bitter gourds, Chayote, Green beans, Peas, Avocados, Sweet corn, Okra, and Olives

Eggplant rollatini is my absolute favorite. If I see it on a restaurant menu it’s a must. Same with huevos rancheros. If it’s there, I get it. Yum.The boys will just say "more for me" Dh isn't a fan of eggplant either but does like the version I make as it doesn't taste too eggplanty
