Thanks. I've been dying to try out my 'new' camera at Animal Kingdom, and finally did (seven months after I got it....). It's a little more manual than I'm used to, and I'm still trying to learn what to do with it.

Wow, how'd you get that ghostly effect?

I used a long exposure time (8 seconds I think, don't remember for sure) and an external flash early in the exposure. Once the flash went off, I had my wife move out of frame.

Great picture. Magic, Music and Mayhem has to be the best fireworks display I have ever seen. This picture definitely captures it!
