They tested one out at HM months ago...They had queue games (not like SM, they were actual games that revolved around the HM theme) from what I remember hearing. They had some WDI people around asking people what they thought about it. The set up at the time was very temporary so if it gets put in i'd expect something more permanent, but that's basically what I remember. Actually, if you search this site, I think Steve reported on it when it happened.

[Canada and Meet-n-Greet work at Epcot. Address puts MnG location at Mexico.
QUOTE=Thrill Seeker;4243209]Probably just more work on Donald's. Haunted Mansion work is interesting. Maybe the nextgen project is gonna happen?[/QUOTE]

The Duffy the Bear meet and greet is rumored to be near Mexico and Port of Entry. May have something to do with that

09/01/10 Update

Most permits filed by BVCC today, so not a lot of information.

However, today marks 1 year since I took over this duty from Master Yoda. Whew!

It looks like I've held enough space to post permits through the end of the year in this thread, then it will be on to WDW Permits Part 4.

Back to today's update, what is the "Chamber of Commerce" at the MK?

And what a year it's been! Once again, I'd like to say thank you for the time you take to put this together each week. Still helps to clear up rumors, while opening all kinds of questions on others

Re: Animal Kingdom Lodge Concierge Refurb- During my August 12-18, I had seen a few maintenance men walking around the lounge and pointing at the walls and such. I tried overhearing what they were saying but I couldn't quite make it out. After you get off the elevator and head towards the lounge, on your left is a door. They were pointing this out.

Can anyone share some insight on the Frontierland Promenade refurb? I would imagine since they haven't drained the Rivers of America in almost 20 years they would have to do some kind of wood work on the boardwalk.

And again a huge thanks to Tom for keeping this up!

09/01/10 Update

Today's update is brought to you by SeaCastle, who is now assisting me in maintaining this permit thread. It only took me a year to realize why Master Yoda gave this up - it's time consuming. But SeaCastle was willing to jump in and take a few days each week off my hands.

His first day has a couple of interesting ones...

More electrical work at RnRC's queue. There have been lots of permits filed for RnRC in recent history.

They've officially filed the permit for the re-roofing of the Mad Tea Party, as everyone suspected.

Last, and most interesting, is some mechanical work in the MK Costume Drying Room. It's located directly underneath Pinocchio's and has had it's "ceiling" recently exposed by the FLE efforts (as discussed in FLE threads). But, seeing that it's mechanical work, it's likely unrelated to the big project. Still noteworthy.

09/09/10 Update

A handful of permits filed today.

My co-updater, SeaCastle, pointed out that the survey maps attached to the DHS Air Handler permit are extremely detailed - so much that they even show Mickey's face at the end of Hollywood Blvd. (Side Note: I had never noticed before that the hat was placed right on Mickey's nose).

I also note that they're replacing air handlers on the Costume Shop. Why invest money in a building that's supposedly going to be torn down in order to build the MI Coaster?

Yeah, the Barnstormer one was pretty exciting.

As for the expiration, you were looking at the expiration date of the Notary Public's license, which is 12/02/2010.

HOWEVER, the Notice actually expires 10/29/10. But that just means they have to start construction before that date.
