I'm heading to the world with my brother on the 26th, it will only be my second time to the World. I ate a lot at the different stands at the food and wine festival last year and didn't experience a lot of the foods at other places. So with that said I was wonder, what does everyone feel will be my must have things or at least must try? What are yours? And before anyone says it yes I had a turkey leg last year and loved it:sohappy:. Any input is much appreciated.

Not a dumb question at all. Just over the bridge to Adventureland on your right. Look for this sign:

I believe a dole whip was already my bros first stop when we step food in the magic kingdom. He didn't get one last year when we were there and got rather envious after hearing everyone online talking about them. That'll teach'em:ROFLOL:

Yes, alot people do recommend the dole whip!
Also, you could try The Kitchen Sink Sundae at Beaches & Cream.
Don't forget the Mickey Mouse ice cream bars that are available at the carts.
I love the beignets at the Sassagoula Floatworks & Factory at the POFQ.
Main Street Bakery & Mrs. Pott's Cupboard at the MK have good ice cream.
:slurp: :D

Thought I was alone on that one.

It's not a weird one, but popcorn.

Orville Redenbacher's is awesome to begin with, but Disney adds that typical butter/seasoning you find in a lot of movie theatres and sports venues. I love any popcorn, but that takes the cake. (Corn?)

Speaking of which... anyone know what it is exactly that they put on there? I doubt they'd sell it in anything other than bulk, but hen again, that's about how I buy and eat my popcorn as it is. :lookaroun

Dole Whip
Zebra Domes at Boma/ The Mara at AKL

Anything chocolate from the Main Street Bakery. I especially love the peppermint patty and chocolate covered strawberry!

Oh my.:slurp: I still have 67 days to go and this thread is really making me want some Disney snacks. I dream about the Dole whip float. Out of this world! And just walking into the Main Street Confectionary and taking a few deep whiffs of all the sugary goodness. Oh, I almost forgot: Cobb Salad at the Brown Derby. OK....I'm stopping now.:p

Awww sounds very Walt-like. Reminds me of the stories of him taking his daughters and granddaughters to parks.:) Sounds like a fun relaxing time too.
