Orville Redenbacher's buttered popcorn OOoo Yeah...with a soda...sit on a bench and people watch...my dd and i ate that sometimes twice a day at DL!

Haha, it became a joke between my friend and I. Every time I smelled popcorn, I'd say "Oh man..." and he'd say "You want popcorn, I know, shut up. You JUST finished some anyway."

But then I'd get more. Hey, it used up our snack credits. :slurp:

Ice Cream Every Day

My rule is that I have to have an ice cream every day at WDW. A different one, if possible, and never from the same place twice. Day 1, a Mickey head ice cream. Day 2, a couple of scoops from Seaside Sweets on the Boardwalk. Day 3, the Plaza Ice Cream Shoppe. Day 4, an Itzakadoozie. You get the picture...:sohappy:

I'm going in Oct for the first time in 4 years, and so far my list of things to try are:
1. dole whips
2. figaro fries
3. zebra domes
4. pretzel breadsticks

Are they any unusual or outstanding funnel cakes in the world? I don't remember but have been wanting one lately.

The only thing WDW needs I think is somewhere to buy deep-fried Snickers and Twinkies... :slurp:

Mmmmmm, they have a great bacon cheeseburger at the Roaring Forks in the Wilderness Lodge. They seem to put a dozen strips of bacon on it everytime. And soooo many yummy dessert squares to choose from. ....can't remember the name of my favourite one, but it has lots of chocolate chips and M & Ms in it. Ahhhh, nine days.... *drool*

Where would you find these pretzel breadsticks, those sound good.

+1 - I want to try them on my next trip!

I'll second the beignets at PO:FQ. Absolutely fabulous, and extremely cheap! I'm surprised no one has mentioned Tonga Toast at Kona yet. I see that mentioned here all the time. It was on my list, but after finding out exactly what it is, not anymore (for those who don't know, it's thick french toast stuffed with bananas). Bananas = :hurl:

For me?

1. Dole Whip/Dole Whip Float
2. Pretzel and Beer from Germany
3. Beavertail from Canada
4. Anything from Boma!
5. Turkey from Ohana. There is just no better way to prepare it than that!

I may be the weird one here, but as soon I get to park, I head for the first bakery and get something chocolate with an iced cap. It's tradition :o

Every had a deep-fried Oreo before? :slurp: :slurp: The Twinkies are good too. :)

No, but in the Garden Grill last year, it was dd's birthday, and the chef brought out a deep fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It was very nice, but you couldn't eat too much - very rich!

I also love Figaro Fries at Pinocchio's Village Haus. They are fries with bacon, cheese, salad, and dressing.

You must try the ice cream on Main Street, the dulce de leche is fantastic!
