What kind of a name is "Bano"? Sounds made up to me. :lookaroun
I call shenanigans on the e-mail from "Bano"
It's Spanish for bathroom...
You don't have to mentally leap far to get to ....BS.

More like a giant octopus and a potential other mythical creature... :animwink:
Nancy Carpenter...sounds like a made up name to me!
Are you hinting that there will be a different creature at the end of JttCotE in our version compaired to Tokyo's?
No... 20,000 Leagues features a giant octopus. The other creature would be in JttCotE.
I wrote in to Disney, too. Here's the response I received:
Dear ------,
Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort.
The Walt Disney World Resort is constantly working with our "Imagineers" and evaluating new ideas for further enhancing our attraction and entertainment offerings in the parks. At this time, we feel Disney's Animal Kingdom is just perfect as it is. If and when we decide to add any new "lands" to this park, we'll publicly announce it long before we'll add any sort of verbiage about it to our standard form email letters.
If you have questions or need further assistance, do some research on your own. Yeesh.
Please include your full name, E-Mail address, and reservation number if applicable on all correspondence.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Bun E. Carlos

I agree, except for the spelling error. I've seen spelling errors like that one before on DisneyWorld's web site and in their e-mailed announcements. If they're careless enough to make a mistake in something intended for millions of people, they're careless enough to make a mistake in a letter intended for one person.Coupla things that make it iffy...
A) The email does not use correct corporate naming structure. It should be "Disney's Animal Kingdom Park" (with an (R) mark beside it).
B) "Other then" should be "other than"
C) There's no way in hell that Imagineering would "confirm" that they were building a new land like that. There would be rumors, etc, but any "confirmation" would come through the typical media channels (IE, a well-crafted media release, etc).
Somebody's playing with ya, I think.
Guest Relations must be rolling around on the floor with this one.
After their superiors finished with them.
