... it seems to me no matter how much money you throw at Jungle Cruise, it is still going to be a slow boat ride looking at fake animals while hearing a lot of corny jokes.

Nov 15th should be the first time it's heard - assuming the trained skippers follow the directions.

Last Sunday, the skipper called him Trader Sam. I had to stop and think what park I was in....

I'll allow it. As I said earlier in the thread, the new spiel in Disneyland is solid. In recent trips, I'd say may Jungle Cruise experience in Florida has been about a C+/B- due to the Skipper. In Disneyland on my last trip (over 3 rides) it was probably a B+/A-.

They're working on slight upgrades to the animated figure's programing and reliability.

You won't be able to request. It will be the new script no matter what.

I have a feeling that if you get on a boat and tell the skipper that you want to hear the old spiel - you will be the butt of quite a few jokes along the cruise.:lookaroun

Fland and refurbs are on different budgets.

And believe me, the plans for JC were terrific.:brick:

Nothing beyond blue sky though, therefore nothing to be getting upset at. There are terrific blue sky plans for everything, doesnt mean they will ever see the light of day.
