There was consistency from ride to ride with some of the new jokes.
The delivery was a large difference maker between the skippers, but each of them had a better sampling of content to draw from.
Some of the jokes that I heard on multiple trips in Disneyland:
When the natives attack they would blow out air and run the microphone across it quickly... "Those are the spears"
"That's a very rare African Bull Elephant. You will never see another one of these in your lifetime." (Says nothing as we pass another one).

The winter after the Mansion was already re-opened.
I just can't remember what all happened with this - last time WDI made a castmember "script change" on a major attraction.

I remember that.
Perhaps that was Jim Hill jumping the gun on his reporting again.
I'm not him, he reports what he hears, but perhaps his source wasn't so good this time. :shrug:
Ah that.
Yes, "wretched" was taken out of the script, because apparently it was "offensive".
Honestly, people are nothing but big babies nowadays.

Nothing. The re-write of this script has nothing to do with offensive material.

Some changes to the Jungle Cruise cruise spiel are currently scheduled to debut around November 15 2009.
Around 90% of the spiel will remain the same, but lots of new material will be available for the skippers to use. Some of the new material has been brought over from Disneyland, along with all new WDI material. Don't worry though, all the classic lines will remain with the exception of the "inspires you to go..." line at Inspiration Falls. That one has been reworked to be somewhat less potty humor based. In the new script, Chief Name is also reverted back to his original name of "Trader Sam".
I've been told that most guests aren't going to notice much of a change, but for those of you who are big Jungle Cruise fans, look out for some great new improvements to the spiel come mid November, and maybe more next year.
