What I meant to say is that the exhibit was originally from WDW. Of course the original was from where it came from.well, it's not originally from WDW - it's originally from Walt's office at the Disney Studios.

Haha, what are the others. Wasn't there like a removal of a Stanley sign that someone freaked out about one time? I know I freaked out about the generic napkins.Dont forget the baked goods store on Main Street!

Awe shucks! Forgot about that one! That was an epic discussion! The hot cheese dispensers. I'm guilty of that as well cause nobody should take away my ability to dispense my own cheese.
I agree, the exhibit is the only area where you can find anything about Walt himself. It told you some facts about him that not many people know about him and the company. So sad about this. No reason that they could be closing an attraction to make space for a walkway when one already exists, and that they can't find somewhere in WALT Disney World to relocate this stuff. Such a shame.
Who else got chills when they we're in the exhibit?I guess I get why it's closing, but I always appreciated going through it. It was a good opportunity to talk to family and friends with me about Walt and the parks.
I got chills when I was hearing the "dancing man" audio while seeing old merchandise from Disney's films made during the 40's.Somebody in this thread might know- does any footage exist of the Buddy Ebsen "dancing man" machine actually operating?
Did the thing ever work?
Say "chills" one more time…
But in all seriousness, the office started to be removed weeks ago. I expect everything else is on the way out as well.
I'm so glad they're adding some fun new attractions. They desperately need to. But One Man's Dream? This is a classic and future generations need to see how it all began. Sad.The start of the closure of One Man's Dream?
The Magic Kingdom was not at all Walt's pet project. It was something added in to help finance EPCOT; that right there are One Man's Dream shows up as nothing more than a copy of Disneyland as a placeholder. The Walt Disney Family Museum is at least interested in more than repeating the same cliches and platitudes.
I would love that! They should really relocate it elsewhere on property. Perhaps to Disney Springs?
