Disney had to crunch the numbers and know what it would take to open things. They are cutting tons of costs with the parks themselves. 10 hours per day in the parks, no parades, no shows, no character meets, some rides and attractions closed. They aren‘t lowering the price. They eliminated the free DDP so everyone staying is paying full price to eat. Keeping whole resorts closed cuts down on costs too over opening everything at 50% occupancy. I think they know the summer is sunk.I think their issue is cost...there a rather big false premise that 25% of the rooms/parks means 25% of the cost.
That’s the problem when this is present as “simple numbers”
Disney needs to take this to a place I’m not sure it can go fast enough
