Not baseball. I would love if MLB was there too. I really miss it
I feel you. Hopefully we have some good news soon.
Players and owners need to put greed aside and come to the table together. The latest offer from the owners was laughed at (literally) by a number of players. The offer essential called for an 80 game regular season plus playoffs and the playoff team players would end up making about 75% of their salary after bonuses. Players want more games and a higher percent of their salaries.

There needs to be wiggle room on both sides, imo. Players countered with 89 yesterday. Ironically enough, I think when all is said and done, they’ll still settle on 70-80 games.

Agreed. They need to do something or the sport takes another hit. Most summers it’s the only game around. This year won’t be normal.

Has anyone seen any info on when park CMs are returning to work? I assume there will be training needed for the new procedures in advance of any kind of previews.

This is all that’s been announced so far if you haven’t seen it. Mostly restaurant and resort cast.

I had seen that. I meant CMs for the parks.

Nothing yet. We have heard that it would be 2-3 weeks before they open. That was said here a few times from people that seem to know more then I do when it comes to cast. We are getting close to that date so maybe soon we will hear something.

Has it been confirmed that park hopping won’t be allowed at the start?
Unconfirmed rumour. Nothing official from Disney as of yet. Since they haven't removed it from people's MDE, it appears that, for the time being, they may allow it if there is still capacity available at a different park. So if EPCOT hasn't filled up, you could, in theory, make a reservation to start in MK or DHS, and then make a new reservation for EPCOT, and move there for the evening.

I just got the e-mail from Disney which said to call. So I called. My 3 nite Boardwalk Inn July 6 thru 9 was changed to Boardwalk Villas , July 17 thru 20. Then they gave me the new total, my confirmed rate of $1163. went UP to $1656. After much polite conversation , they said SORRY nothing they can do. I didn't make the change, and I did not cancel. Im hoping public outcry will get them to change that policy . I won't hold my breath, nor will I cancel till the last minute.

Did they change your dates or did you?

I was wondering this too. It seems like some people get free upgrades, some get asked to pay for upgrade even with the same dates. People that are modifying to Fall dates are still only being offered DVC. One person was able to modify to a mod in November.
There doesn’t seem to be any consistency.

Ok so on a different site, it states that emails have been sent to those with reservations on or before July 11th.

If the resort they had is currently not open, they may still confirm their trip and Disney will place them in a new hotel at no additional cost.

If the reservation is modified to a different date, the guest may choose which open hotel they wish, but the guest must pay additional costs.

If this is indeed the case, imho that makes sense

If also seems to squeeze the budget bookings out for the time being. It's a big jump from a value to what is known to be opening.

5th gate? Just build a new resort Bob.

To add a bit more specificity, your check out date can be no later than July 11. They will not talk to anyone with a departure date of 7/12 or later right now.

I told them anytime after July 15, when parks are open. They quoted July 17.

On another Disney forum. There are reports of people being able to modify that arrive before July 11 but depart well beyond that.
