So i shouldnt be licking the remote each night before bed is what you are saying?I was thinking the same thing. We need a pandemic to get a good cleaning?
Not Hockey! They are too busy fighting about what city is good enough to host it all etc...Breaking News: Walt Disney World Resort will host Every Sport Known to Mankind at ESPN Wide World of Sports
Right? Just point out the “new” cleaning practices. Vacuum barely picked up anything anyways. I would like to know what specific type of cleaning product they intend to use.I was thinking the same thing. We need a pandemic to get a good cleaning?

Here is our check in routine:This might be why I feel comfortable going to Disney despite being OCD. I take matters into my own hands. We always bring our own wipes for the hotel room and use sanitizer like nobody's business at the park. We always asked for the VIP clean too because of our allergies. I assume there will be complimentary extra cleaning for covid but I'd probably still do my own quick clean as well.
Which i find Interesting. Someone managed to get Ice to be a thing outdoors in Anaheim for the winter classic years ago, yet Disney hasn't seen that as a way to make money off youth hockey? Ha! oh well i am enjoying the fighting, and waiting for my glorious hockey to come back. Also, ESPN's WWoS says that they can't do ice rinks.
For now.

Hence why the very first thing I do in any hotel room is scrub the heck out of the remote with a disinfecting wipe. This was for many years before COVID.I had a buddy that worked at a casino in AC. He told me the cleaners very rarely touched the remote except to put it back in its place. That was years ago and since then I don’t think I’ve touched one in any room without a glove on or towel wrapped around it. He said it was the most bacteria covered thing in any room. So hopefully with the wrapped remotes in a NEW bag for each new guest will be a good thing.
I’m here at Universal right now. Been here since Monday and it’s badass. Masks are the only thing not better than the last time we were here. It seems about half to a third as busy as last time we were here.I wonder if Disney is watching closely how dead Universal is.
Sounds like my mom ... September/October is her first time WDW in 28 years (if the trip happens) .. so let's seeHere is our check in routine:
Me: okay kids, get your bathing suits. We are heading to check out the pool.
Wife: I’ll be right there after I use our wipes to wipe down every surface and inspect the sheets.
(1 hr later...wife meets us at pool)
Wife: K. We are NOW ready to check in.
She is very particular about hotel cleaning. BTW...wipes are always covered in dirt. She gets so proud to show us all the germs and dirt after hotel “cleaning”
Same here... Wife does the full decon of the room. We aren't allowed to even sit down until she is finished. Here is our check in routine:

Disney will be releasing a new park reservation system tied to the My Disney Experience app. You will have to make a reservation to even go to a park.Hey- there are 115 pages in this thread so it may be already covered but I do not have time to read through the whole thread. We already had our vacation booked for July 12-17. We have 2 tickets already registered for that week, we are staying in DVC at Saratoga. How do we know if we can actually get in the park? I know there will be limited capacity. Is it basically first come first serve?
