Yes, they have many of the same details.I think that the main point is that the walls look to match the brickwork on Cinderella Castle pretty much identically, and that adds to the feeling that they are all a part of the castle grounds.
Cups aren't going anywhere. The Tea Cups in this photo have the new glass ceiling like in DLP they were thinking about, just a rumor, but I heard they might try to move the tea cups.
I'm not talking about being cold or gritty. I'm talking about it looking and feeling more like actual stone than looking like a material shaped and painted. I do not think it looks, and probably doesnt feel, convincing.
They are, but I would say that Cinderella Castle is one of the areas at the Magic kingdom where the texture is lacking. Was not the purpose of these walls and turrets to match Cindy's castle? In that sense, they're spot on IMO.
It looks like a piece of plywood or a blank panel of somekind. I would imagine "plaster" would go overhead. Not sure what is going inside the window motif. There's a small gap under the panel as well which makes me speculate that something will cover it.Will they be putting anything within the arches inside the walls. It would be nice to have a mosaic like whats inside the castle. I think that would be a great detail to what is already amazing. I'm not sure how to include the picture in my post but here is the link to the arches I'm talking about http://www.wdwmagic.com/attractions...syland-enchanted-forest-castle-wall/16400.htm
Planter = cheap substitute for fountain space. Don't jinx it!Some well themed planters could do wonders for it. I can't wait to see these completed and in person!

We really need a video of this whole area!
What does the view look like now from the balcony at Pinocchio's Village Haus? Last year when we ate there, we were watching Dumbo (obviously not there anymore), the Carousel and the Philharmagic entrance - do the new castle walls block that view? Is all you will see now are the walls?
Ask and ye shall recieve. These videos are rather recent (the second one was even just posted yesterday).
So all we need is a view from the Pinocchio Village Haus' balcony to see what that looks like! Whatever it looks like, it's going to look a lot different to a year ago!
The balcony has been closed for the last year, so no access up there.
