Well this comment is meant to be hopeful/helpful not rude.

There are people that have reversed their type 1 diabetes (through Gabriel Cousens program) And many many people reverse or manage (no medication) genetic diabetes through diet and things like nopal cactus.

So you are right, people should be more considerate of others but people should also be more hopeful of many genetic disorders.

And on the topic, it could be any of those princesses. Maybe they could
Call on the whole food plant based diet fairy and get out of the wheelchair, reverse the diabetes or the obesity. I've seen all those so it wouldn't be a stretch for an animated movie ;)

This is irresponsible. I'm all for homeopathic treatments and a healthy diet, but if your pancreas doesn't work (type I) then no snacks you can eat are going to make it work.

and i agree completely! except that in the cases i am referring to with gabriel cousens etc they thought the patient's pancreas wasn't working at all but for lack of a better term they jumpstarted it with systemic enzymes and diet. of course i would never suggest a type 1 diabetic just ignore wisdom, common sense and doctor's advice and eat some raw veggies and be magically healed. ;)

I am mentally disabled--I have pills to take to keep severe depression, schizophrenia, and OCD in check. I suppose it would be nice to have a mentally impaired princess, but I'm more into an overweight princess. As much as I love romantic happy endings and princesses with their prince/hero, I'm glad Disney finally made a celibate princess (Merida) like me.

Regarding a princess with mental illness, if we go by a literal reading, no there isn't one yet. However, Elsa's story in Frozen has been read by many as an allegory for mental illness.

I think the easiest play at diversity would be to adapt The Marvelous Land of Oz as an animated feature and boom, Ozma is the first LGBT princess. And when Fox News or whoever tries to start the inevitable sh- uh... poop-storm, Disney can just go, "Hey, this is straight from the text. Unless you're suggesting that L. Frank Baum was part of some nefarious LGBT conspiracy over a century ago?"

I know which princess is NOT needed.....

Hey, Princess Kaylee, do something of real benefit...start a petition asking Disney to NOT put a GoG overlay on ToT...

Oh, and in case you missed the whole magic and suspension of the real world bubble that is supposed to be WDW, none of your suggestions fit.

No, these princesses would make people feel more confident. Honestly you come and leave negative comments on every one of my threads. It would be amazing to have any one of these princesses, every little girl/boy ( or child at heart) deserves to feel special.

And this is why we have a generation of entitled individuals.... the Millenials.

You go find your granddad, ask him if he would have worked an unpaid internship after single-handedly beating the Axis (because every grandpa claims that), then you tell me what he says.

Seriously? You think you're the only ones who've worked unpaid internships? I'm a boomer...ALL the internships I looked at were unpaid. Including those part of a teaching program, which were required to get your degree.

I didn't ask about you there, Sonny Jim! But that's typical of YOUR generation, always trying to make it about "Me, Me, ME!" :p;)
