I didn't ask about you there, Sonny Jim! But that's typical of YOUR generation, always trying to make it about "Me, Me, ME!"
Hardly. But that's okay.

Nailed it! Re: Boomers.
See, I'm a Gen X-er, tail end admittedly. We believe that all of society's ills can be solved with the power of sarcasm.
Born in 1971, same as WDW.
Our parents are self-centered and divorced. Our kids/nephews/nieces are self-obsessed except they are more green, colorblind, and equality-minded.
We Gen-Xers know everything and have to take care of all of them!!
So true! We are also the last generation to be children without technology, yet still young enough to embrace it today. I personally am thankful for that. We are the original MTV generation... LOL (back when it played music videos of course). My husband, who is a young baby boomer, is convinced the younger generation (Millenials) don't know how to do anything (hands-on).
I've read that my age group within the millennial generation (late 80s) is setting up to be the most nostalgic cohort. Gen X grew up without the Internet, while young millennials and Gen Z have always had it. Those of us born from about 1988 to 1992 remember early childhood without the Internet, but most of us had smartphones by the time we left college. We're the group that grew up with technology, rather than the groups that grew up immediately before or after it. That rapid change makes us nostalgic for our pre-technological childhoods.Yeah, if it can't be done with their phone, it doesn't exist.
I've watched my daughter and her friends text each other...as they sat 20 feet apart...
A good friend of mine was having a disagreement with her husband on Facebook as they sat beside each other on the couch with their laptops in their lap.
Every stereotype about millennials is true, and I'm smack in the middle of the generation. The reason millennials are working in unpaid internships is because 1) they studied useless majors, 2) they live with their parents, 3) they're afraid of commitment so they're not getting married and having families. Your granddad wouldn't have had to work as an unpaid intern because he wasn't an elitist special snowflake who thought he was too good to work in a kitchen or a factor. It's no virtue to work for free, it's just evidence that you have no economic value. You go find your granddad, ask him if he would have worked an unpaid internship after single-handedly beating the Axis (because every grandpa claims that), then you tell me what he says.
What about Miss Piggy?I agree it would be amazing to see a plus size princess. Not only would it boost the confidence of many girls but it would open up job opportunities for plus size ladies at the parks.

You're proving my point. "Studying what you're passionate about" doesn't make you useful to anybody.1.) They studied what they were passionate about
That's called being a loser. Prolonged adolescence. Arrested development. Guyland. Call it what you want, but it's pathetic.2.) Some live with their parents to save money until they can afford their own housing situation
Hahahahahaha. You just defended them for living at home, and now they don't get married because they're "independent." They're not independent, they're shallow and cowardly.3.) they are independent and do not need a S/O to define them.
Except that it drives up miscarriages, birth defects, autism, etc. It also correlates with divorce.People are having babies later and later, and that's fine.
Exceptions don't disprove the rule. Not all millennials are bad

I'm still trying to figure out if you're in fact a troll, as others allege, or if you're honestly as clueless as you appear.1. If it's not your major why do you care? You have to be interested in your job to do it well. As a teacher I was told HUNDREDS of times that I wouldn't make a lot of money and that teaching jobs are hard to find. I didn't let that get to me, I'm successful today and have 2 side jobs involving writing. My point is YES there are a lot of useless majors but maybe High Schools should be helping kids figure out what they want their career to be.
2. What about the exception of having a child with Aspergers Syndrome who is very intelligent and goes to college but is mentally behind? My daughters gymnastics teacher is 28 living with her parents and is a female engineer, she makes a lot of money, has a serious boyfriend, and is not entitled.
3. I don't like the way your talking to me, you need to tone it down. I believe it's better to be selfish in College and Grad school and then (if your ready) focus on marriage and children. That is not a thing that should be rushed. It's okay to be selfish and travel and enjoy being young.
4. Not your child, not your problem. You probably aren't even a parent (eye roll).
Born in "Late December 1963", I have custody of my bankrupt 80yo parents and my 2 teenage daughters.Born in 1971, same as WDW.
