VIDEO of "Enchanted Stitch Room"

I don't like the idea of having Stitch in the Tiki Room either, but he would fit much better than anybody else; and as long as this means SGE finally goes away for good, I say the sooner, the better. :)

Here's what I'd do with tomorrowland:

*extend the avenue of the planets look and themeing to the rest of the land.

*Replace SGE with a new updated alien encunter ( please Disney, just bring it back. I beg you! :( ).

*Replace MILF with a differnt version of timekeeper which is a simulator ride instead of circle vision show using simulator technology originally designed for the "Toon Bus" concept in which there are screens on both sides of the simulator to give an immersive feel and be quite thrilling too.

*Turn the old skyway station into a pizza port.

Just some ideas that I think could work.:D

Very little of this is far-fetched. Let's just say that Disney wasted money on the last few TL additions.

I've said this many times before now, but it's worth repeating: every land at the MK will be completely refurbished to make the park the best it has ever been. This has been the company's plan since the Main Street refurb began in 2005. Regardless of how much actually changes, everything will change to some degree. Expect lots of rumors to fly around, and take everything with a grain of salt until the projects are more apparent. Plans change, and something that could legitimately be in the works could be shelved indefinitely (e.g. Beastly Kingdomme...well, it was shelved anyway).

You're killing me! Just hearing that gets me excited, but I'll come back down to Earth soon ;)

They should have known better, but maybe they'll learn from mistakes made.

I'm looking forward to being proud of the Magic Kingdom again.

OK, that gets me excited. I know other people really like MILF, and I have, since my last trip, upgraded my view from 'terrible' to 'okay,' but I especially don't like it in Tomorrowland. Move it to DHS, and let's see what they come up with for TL.

This week has since some great rumors and ideas floating around these boards....very exciting :sohappy:

The concept won't be moving, rather replaced (with what, I'm not ready to say).

"Blood on the saddle... blood all around...."

So, jedimaster, from what you've heard, is this thing looking likely, or are we really just talking blue sky at this point?

-p.b.

What I've posted so far is listed as likely. I don't normally post regarding blue sky developments unless I'm assured that the tech for such an attraction will be applied somewhere within the parks.

There's a problem though. I think the main reason why the tiki room is popular again is because its at the enterance of adventureland in DL and has the torches that draw people in. Even if WDW added torches, it still wouldn't really draw people in because its not really in a good location.

The Avenue of Planets will get a touch up (minor) to incorporate the new theme, eventually.
For Alien Encounter, you might not be surprised to know that for Magic Kingdom, that is the one request that management has not stopped getting since the attraction closed--to bring it back.
MILF's replacement will utilize the pre-existing theater and pre-show (with a few retheme-touch ups) buildings, only taking over with a new theme.
The Skyway building has plans to eventually become a restaurant of some sort (likely counter service), but some plans call for the current building to be demolished and replaced with a new one.

Well I'm certainly not surprised. As least I'm not the only one doing it :animwink:

In all seriousness, it is kind of odd that complaints led to its closing and now that it is gone, it seems quite a few folks wish it was back. Sort of goes to show how the attraction really did split audiences. And maybe the quality of SGE has something to do with people asking about it as well.

They would likely close at least one of the pods on Stitch's Great Escape (since one of the Stitch animatronics will be sent to the Tiki Room--the other will probably be shipped elsewhere, and I won't comment on that location just yet) during the refurbishment of the Tiki Room itself. The Tomorrowland attraction would then close in full before the opening of the new Tiki Room with Stitch.

As for its replacement, I've heard several different stories, none of which have a definite filler... Mind you, it all depends on the Tomorrowland overhaul as a whole and the effect it will have on Stitch's Great Escape's location and the show opposite it as well... :animwink:
That is FANTASTIC news...

I want to know how old he is.

But I digress.

Me? Or DisneyNut2007?....I'm 17 if you were asking...

Even more fantastic news...MK's future is bright....:sohappy:

Please don't let Alien Encounter return to the Magic Kingdom! It was too intense and violent to for that park and had to go away for that reason!

You're entitled to your opinion. Needless to say, I completely and totally disagree though

Except that it's not an opinion. It's a fact, a hardcore fact, that AE was extremely intense and violent, especially for an MK attraction.

Where's the ever-sensible Enderikari when he's needed? :(

While it was intense and violent, I never bought the whole shouldn't be in the Magic Kingdom argument. I have never thought of the park (until recent years) as being aimed more towards children. There's plenty of pixie dust there, but there's room for more too.

And as far as the attraction being the worst attraction in the park because it didn't fit there, I hate to break it to you, but that isn't a hardcore fact. It's an opinion.

Oh gosh :ROFLOL:

Oh wow that video looked cute. I wouldn't mind Tiki being changed into that, i hate the version now. On the whole AE thing, that show freaked me out, i had nightmares about the alien, and i never saw the whole thing, i was out the door by the end of the pre-show. I would hate for them to put it back, it was just way too scary. I personally like Stitch but it would be cool if they could put something else in,something more Tommarowland-ish. I think Tommarowland has so much potential to be really cool but right now the only cool thing is Space Mountain and COP and TTA. Thats my opinion......

Oh and i found a full show video, if anyones interested:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgqvA4QKIRc&feature=related

Great find. I'm skipping around the show, but this certainly looks like a winner. THIS is the Stitch that is most memorable from the movie, IMO. Naturally if I had to choose between bringing back the original show or this to WDW, I'd pick the original show. But it just makes too much sense not to bring this show to WDW. The Tiki Room needs an update and SGE needs to be replaced. They can make use of the Stitch AA's instead of sending them overseas for something else. The only thing that screams out to me is that the show should still open with the Tiki Room theme song and then go into Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride. But other than that it looks like a wonderful show and an upgrade over Under New Management. Of course, hearing the show in English might change things, but I doubt it. With the way the Japanese love Stitch, I don't see how that won't be extremely popular.

Actually, AE was MUCH more intense when it first opened. In later versions it was toned down. And it didn't belong in MK or TL for that mater?How...?

And it's nothing to shout over...This is a nice friendly discussion,no?

AE fitted in perfectly with the New Tomorrowland theme, but its problem was the lack of extremely noticeable signage warning of its nature. I know there were warnings on the sign and in the attraction's name, but it needed something that no one could miss.

Interestingly, AE was made with help from George Lucas. If it returns, I wonder if we'll get AE: Special Edition? :lookaroun
