When was AE a low rated attraction? Looking at past issues of The Unofficial Guide to WDW, it got good marks in all age groups, no less than 3 stars mostly 4 stars. Compare that with Stitch were only one age group gives it 3 stars and the rest are mainly 2 stars.

If they bring Stitch to the Tiki Room (I would rather see a new original tiki Room show, but Ya get what ya get) Is there room for Two Stitch AA's? One could be in his shirt and another in an Elvis jumpsuit. That would be a lot better than our current UNM abomination. But still, a new show that is totally original would be best...

Eh, the unofficial guide took a one-sided view to Alien Encounter. AE realy was a well rated attraction especially amongst teens, but that was all ignored because of the parents complaining the ride scared their kids.:brick:

New English subtitled video is up. Now we can finally understand what's going on!:

I'm kinda disappointed that at least Jose wasn't in this...that one bird that replaces him looks exactly like him.(In the earlier video, I thought it was Jose because the CM said something in Japanese that sounded like Jose)

Thanks for the link! I too thought I heard the name Jose in the previous video. Perhaps before the show comes to MK they'll put Jose back.

I enjoyed the show even more with the subtitles. The storyline is very cute, and I love the implementation. I think this will be a really nice addition to MK.

I love the idea of adding Stitch to the ETR. I hate UNM and feel it completely destroyed the Tiki Room I know and love, I thank the maker everyday that it didn't seep into California's Disneyland. It'd make more sense than UNM and if it means getting that horrid Stitch attraction out of Tomorrowland even better.

After reading the subtitles and knowing the story a bit more, I'm a little less excited about it than I was before hand. But with that said, it still is an improvement over Under New Management and SGE.

"Me too, And, technically, you are in a popular stance, since the majority of WDW's guests (including the non-fanatics) actually like UNM. And, no, the guests aren't stupid--they have their preferences just like everyone else."

I do not believe for a moment that you are quoting facts here... every person I know who goes to WDW with almost no exception reviles UNM...

"And a forever-subjective one at that. Besides, most guests like UNM including yours truly."

Your position is subjective as well! As for Most guests liking UNM, sure would like to know where you pull this insight from? If this were true that most guests like UNM then WHY are they changing it? ;)

"Don't be so condescending. UNM may be a mistake in YOUR point of view, but it really wasn't."

Oh no... the other poster is right, UNM was a mistake. I believe the Imagineers tried to do good by UNM, but sometimes even the best of us have an off day....and they showed wisdom in their "update" at Disneyland and its a roaring success!

"Again, that kind of condescending attitude will get you nowhere."

Uhm, the other poster was not condescending.... what would you define your message that I am quoting from currently though?

"EDIT: Also, the newest Tokyo Tiki show still ditches Jose, Michael, Pierre & Fritz, which isn't a good thing. They'd better retain them if "Stitch presents Aloha e Komo Mai" does indeed come to WDW. However, I still prefer that WDW keep UNM, though."

Sadly most of our beloved voiceover actors for our beloved birds have passed away :( ...But thankfully the Disneyland show was completed and is all recorded using new modern technology!

Well, they already ruined the show to begin with, including Iago and Zazu...I don't see them going back to the original version (Disney rarely does that)

I think this might be a unique case... the update at Disneyland shows the original show (with the modifications made in the length etc) have been a roaring success at Disneyland..... and these rumors of the possible return of the DL show to WDW seems to be gaining traction....and seeing all the posts about this everywhere (mostly supporting the idea too!) recently, it seems that a lot of people are downright Excited about this.

Am the only person who completely hates the idea of this??

I don't like Stitch, I'm afraid!! ButI love the Tiki Room in it's original form and I really want it to go back to how it was!! No character tie ins or anything else like that, just the Tiki Room as it was originally designed!!

Please, please, please don't let them put Stitch in there!! It will be hideous!! And what on earth did they do to those birds?!? That's animal testing gone too far!!!

100% in agreement... Give Jose back his show!

Will you get it through your head that the original Tiki Room show will NEVER be returning to WDW?!

True, the true orginal wont return, but the Disneyland show I believe is in WDW Orlando's future :)

Of course if this happens it will make so many of us :sohappy: and Ill even save a spot for you in the crazy long line to see the show on opening day! :) :D
