Great pics, and the colors! :D

Though something I would like to ask...

The planted trees, are they blocking the exit escalator as someone can see from the first floor?

And if that's the case, the right side of this pic is where all the attractions were, right?

And the Rainbow Corridor. Sad, and yet, inspirational.... :lookaroun

It's sad to see. They really butchered up some great attractions. I wish they would at least do something with them, they're just wasting prime real estate.

Did you go up there without permission? Or did you have someone kinda escort you? I may have to sneak up there one day lol. :lookaroun

My first trip to WDW was May 2 - 7 2000.

So I never got to see any of this stuff.

That was the "DARK" times for the JII pavilion. That was the JIYI days right??

Had 5 nights but only 4.5 days to explore. Plus I went to SeaWorld for a day.

Didn't get to do anything more than once and somethings had to skip

I did go into the Millennium Village at EPCOT though. The celebration there was way cool!!

Miss the TON Parade very much.

Hope they bring this all back with Dreamfinder so this pavilion will be truly great again. And a different attraction to replace HISTA would be nice also.

Sorry to be picky, but it`s the entrance escalator :D

You can only see the ceiling from the ground floor. The upper atrium used to be used for convention space so I dare say the plants were the `area closed` barrier to the real Imageworks.

Thanks for the info! :D

Wasn't the elevator the entrance as well? If so, never knew there were two entrances...

Gosh, those bring back AWESOME memories....

It would SO easy to instal something up there. A lounge, small cafe, JII Exhibit...Blue Sky Gallery...

Love that the original colors are still there...

Thanks Fig632.

Most everything is still intact, with some structural refurb and 21st century tech,we could have an updated version of the greatest post-show ever! We know that as long as the tubes don't burn out the Rainbow Tunnel works!:sohappy::lol:

Never thought of the blue sky going there that would be great!

I'd like to see a Blue Sky area until a revamp of the Imageworks to bring it back happens. A blue sky area would fit so well in an Imagination Pavillion!
