Isn't black mold a health hazard?
Wait... What has black mold on it? I missed that.

BS... the lighting would just pick the next closest tall metal object. The BAH is a wonderful lighting arrestor. For safety reasons, the BAH will stay.

Why would they WANT lightning to strike an object directly in the path of the guests?
Oh..I get it ...this is just another Hip Hop music taking over at the CBJ post.

Don't you know ...nobody gets struck by lightning while in the park...they are just pronounced dead when they get to the hospital.Out of interest, how many guests were struck by lightning at DHS before the Hat was installed?

I don't know if there is any stock in it - but one would imagine that Operations would especially as they will be removing attractions - they need better visibility of GMR.
As much as I hate the BAH, I hate the stage even more.I sometimes fear the stage is part of what keeps the hat. WDW feels it needs a stage there.
In a twist of great irony, the view of the big ugly hat is often obstructed by the even bigger and uglier rent-a-stage.
Maybe I'm not following you, but the BAH is NOT an attraction.I'm not following. What does better visibility of GMR have to do with removing other attractions?

The unit that paid for its erection is gone, . . . with a general re-allocation of the hub.
Your B.S. beat my B.S. by a matter of seconds.
Not really. Lightning favors tall pointy metal objects...such as the BAH!BS... the lighting would just pick the next closest tall metal object.
It's part of the value engineering initiative. A study was conducted when Eisner was still there and they determined that it was better to have the BAH absorb the afternoon lightning bolts than to kill off paying guests. Why would they WANT lightning to strike an object directly in the path of the guests?
I don't know if that rumor is true, but I too heard that a Hip-Hop show is going to be a regular feature at the BAH stage at DHS.Oh..I get it ...this is just another Hip Hop music taking over at the CBJ post.

With Disney closing AIE, BATB show, potentially Muppets, LMA and Backlot - the other attractions will be working overtime to accommodate guests. I firmly believe from anecdotal evidence from when I went prior to BAH being erected the same volume of guests are simply not going into GMR, because they don't know the Chinese Theater exists thanks to the BAH.
He did. Spirit said it was coming down. I was told the walls would be physically up a week next monday.Unfortunately Micechat did something to their forums otherwise I would dig up @WDW1974 thread where he said the wand was being removed and that was a good 6 months before the walls went up. He was the first to report.
But like you said Siemens didn't like the wand but at DMGM who from the outside is going to tell Disney to get rid of it?
