Unlimited Fastpasses, Two Disney Hotels, and a Chef’s Table – It’s all Good Until Somebody Barfs

I just got back from the Happiest Place on Earth! And oh how I love it there. Disneyland is my home away from home. We spent so much time there when we lived in California and I have so many wonderful memories of it. I don’t get there near as often as I like anymore. So when some training was offered for travel agents, I knew I was there!

Who – Me of course! And Pam, Missy and Dani were coming for training too! There was a whole gaggle of Kingdom Konsultants! Well, is four a gaggle? Maybe not, but it was still fun! Here we all are from left to right Tammy, Missy, Pam and Dani:

DisneylandTrainingDay326.jpg

When – August 22nd -August 27th

Where – 4 nights at the Grand Californian and one at the Disneyland Hotel

What – Some agent training and some fun!

Catch phrase of the trip – “It’s all good until somebody barfs.” Don’t worry, nobody actually barfed. :) More on that later…

Fabulous pics, Tammy! I don't think you overdid the castle pics. I love the different angles and how each shows the different colors of "stone". I love the infusion of the softer pinks & peaches. It's subtle but not overly feminine. I love the way the "stones" go right down into the water line and it creates the different reflections on the water. I just love it.

The white statues of the dwarves, etc. that are near the waterfall & wishing well, isn't there some sort of story or history to those? Were they a gift or something like that? Seems like I heard a story about them before but I can't remember it now...

I really love seeing pics of New Orleans Square. I think I could fall in love with that area. So pretty.

What was that coffee thing Pam had??? Wowza! I'm craving something coffee-ish now! LOL!

Can't wait to see more!

Thank you, Kelly! The castle is small, but very pretty I think.

If I'm not mistaken, the dwarves and Snow White were donated by Walt himself! It was anonymous I think. Snow White is the same size as the dwarves so they put her up top to make it look like she was farther away and should be smaller.

New Orleans Square is so beautiful!

I don't remember what it was that Pam had, but I know she loved it!

That was my most favorite part of the park. It was so charming. And maybe because it's a different land than anything the Magic Kingdom at WDW has, but it was just lovely!

I agree! It is different and that's part of what makes it so cool!

I love this picture. It's almost like I can picture Walt standing there in the middle like in the classic photo. Love, love, love!

Thanks, Jess!

Not Thumper. But so close.

It's the Not Thumper rabbit.

Love your photos. Keep the updates coming, please!

Thanks, Raven! :)

Awesome report. All these Disneyland/California Adventure posts lately have me really itching for a trip out west. Maybe for the half marathon next year so I can grab a Coast to Coast medal while I'm there...:D

It's one of the squirrels from Sleeping Beauty.

Hold it hold it. I know there is a squirrel, but I'm pretty sure this one is a rabbit! A rabbit from sleeping beauty right?

Thanks for the awesome DL report and pics! Amazing!

Thank you, Ashley! You should try it sometime too!

It seems I must give my diploma back!! Despite having a degree in biological sciences I cannot tell the difference between a rabbit and a squirrel :(

I'm still thinking rabbit.

Honestly, if Disneyland wasn't my second home, I would have guessed it was a rabbit too! It definitely looks like a rabbit.

Are you sure? I'm betting rabbit! I don't know if I got a picture of the squirrel or not...
