TwoTigersMom's Picture Packed Trip Report!

Our vacation began on Wednesday November 26th. Our Elves, Crispin and Fisher, arrived that morning, just in time to go with us!

We left home that afternoon and headed to Atmore, AL. My MIL decided that we should go to the Poarch Creek Indian Thanksgiving Pow Wow instead of her house for Thanksgiving this year. It was actually a lot of fun. It was very interesting to watch the dancing and learn more about their culture.

The boys, Hagan (7) and Austin (3), had a blast. They had an area with some games and other fun things for the kids to do too. Here we’re trying some stretching exercises so he’ll be tall enough for Rockin’ Roller Coaster

Austin was flying high…

Hagan wasn’t truly happy until he caught a greased pig, but what kind of country boy would he be if he hadn’t??

On Friday morning, we headed on down to Orlando. We arrived at Gaylord Palms about 6pm and didn’t leave the resort once until we checked out on Sunday around 10am! That place is absolutely amazing!

I love the t-shirts your sons wore ... especially "Jingle Bells, All Girls Smell"! Love it!

We passed the Gaylord and saw the ICE signs, but had no idea that was there. Wow! Wish we had known.

Hehehe I'm going for Austin's birthday and the half marathon. Austin informed me he wanted to go to La Nouba on his birthday instead of having a party :ROFLOL:

Nice, Heidi. Sorry we didn't get to meet on the 5th, but we'll definitely meet for the half-marathon. The morning of the race, head on over to the vicinity of Tent S to meet the running gang.

Great trip report and even greater pictures Heidi!! Your littles guys are so cute. I am taking Loreli next December to see all the Christmas stuff. When we were there in September she said that she would rather go back to WDW in December than the trip to London I promised her is she graduated with her class this June!! :sohappy: I think I've created a Disney junkie! :ROFLOL:

Thanks for posting the pictures from inside Gaylord. We just got back from the resort in Nashville, and I wondered how different it was from the Florida version.

Read the entire report and loved it! The segment of Austin crying pictures were too cute. I enjoyed looking at the boy's plates to see if they were being adventurous with their food choices, Hagan especially. Doesn't he like to try fun things?

Glanced at your smugmug too, and the Gaylord Palms is incredible!
