Tronorail to go into service tomorrow!

Like others I'll reserve judgment till I see them. I'm leaning towards the not liking, prefer the white, but we'll see. But I'm guessing the are doing it now to catch the spring break/easter crowds and then the summer. The people going to Disney now most likely will not be back before the December release date, so only one chance to catch their attention so to speak. And if they don't send out the "Tronorails" until later that is all that many more people who haven't see the "ad." Yes they will be out for 9 months, but for most visitors it will only be 1 maybe 2 days.

Don't worry, it won't be staying for 5 years. The floodgates are now open and the WDW Monorails are moving billboards, chances are some of them will get a new coat by the time another major release is around the corner.

Sorry, I hate being negative, but I do not like this idea. :brick:

From my understanding, Coral was selected because it was due for a repaint anyway based on the rotation...

I love the idea. But, then again, I love Tron. If the monorails are going to be moving billboards, at least they will be something cool, instead of, say, a Hannah Montana-orail

Great point, hadn't thought of it that way. Wonder if they will still be done up when we go next March or if it is just until the end of the year!

Ugh. Not a Tron fan (I have a certain aversion for the sci-fi genre in general) and not at all digging the thought of monorails as billboards. Next thing you know they'll be covering the Contemporary exterior with the advertisements. Blech!:hurl:

some of you are really taking this to an unnecessary extreme.

Register on WDWMAGIC. This sidebar will go away, and you'll see fewer ads.
