I’m Feb 1st. Missed Tron by a month
The carnival coaster at the State Fair went up in about four hours. I guess that makes it even better?Ummm is this a Disney dig lokView attachment 666255
Velicoaster at least made the golden ticket top 25 steel coasters. None of Disney's coasters did. Why do Disney fans hate on coasters so much? The carnival coaster at the State Fair went up in about four hours. I guess that makes it even better?
I doubt they hate them, but different people like different things, and Disney has not typically been a haven for intense coasters. It's not unreasonable to assume that people who don't enjoy coasters have historically gravitated toward Disney over the competition. Why do Disney fans hate on coasters so much?

Because they are generally uninteresting and unattractive.Velicoaster at least made the golden ticket top 25 steel coasters. None of Disney's coasters did. Why do Disney fans hate on coasters so much?
Hagrids?Because they are generally uninteresting and unattractive.
Theme it well, have it not be an eyesore and I don’t think you will hear much in the way of complaints.
When you do that a lot of times you lose a lot of intensity and thrill. Don't get me wrong I like theming but I also like thrill too. IMO WDWs best ride isn't Rise or Guardians but Tower of Terror. It has the best balance of thrill and theming.Because they are generally uninteresting and unattractive.

Is great and one of my favorite rides in the Orlando area but still is a bunch of exposed track that takes away from the overall look. I forgive them a bit as it is relatively consealed from view and the more the tress and plant life grow the better it will look.Hagrids?
Sure, but I can go just about anywhere for thrills, not so much for theme. I believe that is why a lot of us come across as anti coaster. Most aren’t, we just want it themed well and exposed track generally isn’t. It can work but most of the time just doesn’t.When you do that a lot of times you lose a lot of intensity and thrill. Absolutely…and Velocicoaster is one of the best coasters in the world. Absolutely blew me away.Sightlines are overrated. How good the ride is, is more important.
So you’re disappointed?I know I'm beating a dead horse here but for Josh to comment, "we know we've been talking about this for a while now" and then to say, "it's coming in Spring 2023" is a complete slap in the face.
Try Disneyland. Or Paris. Or Hong Kong. Or Tokyo. Or Universal….It’s just frustrating as a uk visitor I took a gamble of booking for October a year after the 50th as was hoping they would complete all the plans by then. And now most things will open after I have been. With the value of the pound and the constant price hikes I don’t know when I can return just disappointing for a previously regular visitor
Is great. Better than Velocicoaster. (yes I have ridden both)Hagrids?
Pretty bold of you! Not sure I could say one is better than the other - they both were built to offer different experiences. Hagrids IMO is only cool if you are on the bike, not the sidecar. But Veloci is a great overall thrill coaster. Is great. Better than Velocicoaster. (yes I have ridden both)
I get it, it's personal preference. I (personally) just find the Hagrid's experience to be more unique that you can't find everywhere. I can ride thrill coasters at many many parks across the country. I can't ride a well themed good coaster at but a select few parks.Pretty bold of you! Same here. We shifting our focus to Tokyo now. While it ‘only’ has 2 parks, the overall experience is much better than WDW.It’s just frustrating as a uk visitor I took a gamble of booking for October a year after the 50th as was hoping they would complete all the plans by then.
