Have you ridden a non balls to the wall intense RMC? Because I haven’t, and I’m not sure one exists. It’s kind of their calling card.
The increased capacity comes from the new ride next door. While doing nothing to increase capacity.
Magic Kingdom need far more capacity than what TRON is adding. The increased capacity comes from the new ride next door.

Just think if they added a low to the ground B&M invert to DHS and the capacity that would addWhat, you don't think adding a headliner with a 1500-1600 HRC is going to thin out the crowds around MK?
Just think of the impact this and GotG would have had in a park like DHS, which has been hilariously mismanaged in terms of ride capacity for decades.
RMC declined to build a coaster for Epic Universe so they clearly have no issue saying no to large companies. They know their strengths and their market. You don’t think they would make concessions to design and rebuild an iconic Disney ride in the most popular park on the planet? I do.
Big Dipper at Luna Park (Sydney) is an Intamin. At the moment, I'm quite sure there's no other ride manufacturer able to produce bobsled-style tracks outside of RMC or a one-time project.
If only they didn't cancel the only thing that was on the horizon that would add much needed capacity, within the same land. The now defunct Main Street Theater. Depending on the entertainment/plans (if I remember correctly, it was to house some type of Broadway style show), that could have easily eaten up some of the crowds to take away from SM and TRON in the relative area.Magic Kingdom need far more capacity than what TRON is adding.
I’m conflicted on the theater. The parks need more capacity but they also don’t need more poorly designed stuff plopped down into them.If only they didn't cancel the only thing that was on the horizon that would add much needed capacity, within the same land. Agreed, but in today's world, you gotta take what you can get, and we didn't even get thatI’m conflicted on the theater. The parks need more capacity but they also don’t need more poorly designed stuff plopped down into them.
I’ve come around to the frame of thought that MK needs to get more headliner attractions instead of C-level ones. If there was a budget to build 6 E ticket projects over 10 years, 2 or 3 should go in MK as part of an expansion of the park to mimic the layout patterns of Disneyland.I’m conflicted on the theater. That’s a sure fire way to induce more demand, which is exactly what you don’t want.I’ve come around to the frame of thought that MK needs to get more headliner attractions instead of C-level ones. It’ll get zero, but still.
People are flooding the park anyway. It needs every building in the existing footprint open and it’s time to build into the expansion pads. That’s a sure fire way to induce more demand, which is exactly what you don’t want.
Well if the “Beyond Thunder Mountain” plans come pass, they would kind of be doing that.People are flooding the park anyway. It needs every building in the existing footprint open and it’s time to build into the expansion pads.
Can anyone explain for me the value of the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. building? Why did they keep it? Do they really need the retail space? Are they going to use it as a TRON shop? If so, why didn't they TRONify the building? Why does it look like a bank from Gotham City?Photos from today.
New plantings along the side here.
