I must be the only person that has no issue with Space Mountain. Three of us (ages 48-53) rode it in October 2021 and we laughed the entire time! It felt like we were going so fast, didn't feel overly bumpy to me and you could certainly see the special effects.

Still love this ride after all this time. I don't think I will love Tron as much!

I still love Space Mountain, but it really needs some tlc.
The props along the lift hill could use a dusting.

It would be wonderful to seem the really plus-up Space Mountain...Keep the ride experience what it is as far as track layout, but new smoother track, refreshed set pieces with 21st century technology, Replace the speedramps and a whole new exit display... Use all the Horizons sets and a bunch of the AAs...really make it the WOW that it once was. It is architecturally significant, beautifully designed from the start, and worthy of the investment.

Anyone have any updated TRON photos from yesterday or today?
Based on stream footage from yesterday, not much has changed to really warrant new photos. The one unpoured section of the plaza remained unpoured, and while the side door of Light & Power was open yesterday, it was otherwise still in the same state as when the clock was removed a few days ago.

Only minor changes are that they seem to be actively working on the area surrounding the Fantasyland connection, and there were lots of trucks next to Space Mountain, hopefully to finish some of the landscaping over there. I'll try to check again today, but there's really been nothing exciting to report over the holidays aside from the new views available from the train.

A bevy of rolling hedge planters have arrived next to Light & Power, so they may be taking down the larger construction walls soon. Also, the plaza-side gate blocking the path toward the Speedway service building is now complete, and the central planter looks to be getting prepped for signage. There is also some earth-moving happening in that random section they refuse to pave, so maybe that will happen in short order.

The Paris version is basically Rock N Roller Coaster with an inclined launch...not exactly but close. The WDW Space Mountain is a great ride that just needs track replacement and some updated decor and display...and get rid of the pink!
Where is the pink on SM?
