There is apparently significant pressure to have this attraction open in time for the regularly scheduled maintenance closure of Splash Mountain. It will likely be that attraction's last closure.

So open this by Christmas so they have time to paint three leaves on Splash so it shines during its farewell year?

Them half painting the leaves was the biggest hint to the green light on the new attraction (green light on timing)

Sweet. going in early Nov and was worried it would be shut down for the remake or this refurb being mentioned. Sounds like we'll be safe barring something breaking.

In all seriousness, if they were to delay it that long, they'd be focusing on getting EPCOT finished. Instead, resources are being thrown at TRON (which has no impact on overall guest flow/operations).

With the train being shut down for Tron I think that has a big impact on guest flow at the MK. Also isnt that extra walkway between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland closed?
