Thinking about @Darstarr, @coachwnh, @fractal, @MickeyCB with kids in the path of Milton. I hope all are safe. Same with @Tony the Tigger, @blreinsel , @lostpro9het and @imahistorygeek.
Thank you. Helene was a bigger issue for Brayden. He was able to leave the day before landfall and stay in Jupiter. They boarded up the frat house before leaving.

Maddy had it worse in Columbia. Campus was a mess with tree damage, flooding, and internet issues. Overall, they had it easy compared to so many others

Thinking of you at this horrible time. Hope your last few days are better.
Our thoughts are with the CMs who are still working as part of the Rideout Crews! They are working so hard and still smiling.

We are also concerned about those members of the forum who live in the area or have family in the vicinity. So glad to hear that Sterg, Brayden and Maddy were OK after Helene too.

Thanks Teresa, Sterg evacuated yesterday and is staying with his cousin in Delray Beach, Florida. My in-laws rode up to Pensacola with a group from their community. I join you in hope and prayers that all are safe.

I don’t want to jinx it, but this is the second in a row where Broward County was pretty much spared. We did manage to lose a backyard tree via Helene; didn’t even notice until a couple of days later.

The increase in tornadoes as a presumably new normal is concerning. They strike with little warning anywhere with significant structural damage.

So glad you and Brian are ok. That was some crazy .... ! I can't even imagine. I was all anxious up here so I can't imagine what it was like down there.

The show was amazing! We hope to take Lincoln to see one of the Disney Broadway shows when he’s a little older.
Love your hair!!! So pretty!

So jealous too - all these trips to NYC to see shows and I still haven’t gotten to the Lion King (some of my group of Broadway fans are staunch ‘no Disney’ ☹️). I am determined to see it one day!!! I’ve heard it’s one of the best ever.

I hope you can see it one day! The “Aladdin” Broadway show is also incredible!
We got to see the Lion King too!

Jason and I were lamenting the lack of tumble monkeys and acrobatic birds in the Broadway show! 😂

I just realized I have gotten a notification in a long time!

I thought I had it fixed because I was getting notifications but then they stopped again. I'm not even getting notifications o trip reports that I'm following. My computer "allowed" me to log on and check to see how everyone was doing post hurricanes. Looks like a new computer will be in my future and at least one issue will be solved LOL.

We are (probably) going to Disney!
Still have to hold the official parent meeting but my daughter’s cheer team won their UCA regionals this weekend! And got their bid to Nationals in Orlando. (Yes, those cheer teams that fill up the All Stars in February). This was such a huge win for them - hours and hours of hard work. You can actually hear me crying on the video I took of their team name being announced as the winner (i actually started crying when I realized they were top 3!)
Sorry for the weird markings - but I try not to post photos online of OPK (other peoples kids 😊)

Congrats! When my high school team got to go to nationals, we had to go to Jacksonville. I would have much rather been at Disney!!

One of my student's cheer teams might be going to the Disney cheering competition too. Her team is a little younger though. I hope your daughter's team does well!

CONGRATS!! It's a lot of hard work!! My daughters dance team competed at Disney her freshman year. It was very fun and there are definitely a lot of good (and funny) memories from that trip! What happens at Disney stays at Disney LOL

We arrive on 25th next year do miss you by a couple of days. Hope all goes well with your scan. He's waiting for his appointment to come through.
We're staying at Riverside this year (love this resort) and Fench Quarter next year ( love this resort even more).
Had some good news on Monday. My heart scan showed no change in the measurements over the last 18 months. So pleased and now we can get our insurance.
