Christine and I have just returned from our holiday to the island of Jersey. It’s about a 45 minute flight from the UK. The whole island is only 45 miles all round. Fabulous beaches and very scenic.
This is beautiful St. Brelades Bay
You have to have at least one Jersey Cream Tea.

). Do I recall you mentioning you have another Disney trip next year? We are on the way tomorrow and should have been with friends who had to cancel & rearrange last minute (due to health investigation meaning no longer insured!) It won't be the same without them (8 trips to. WDW with them so far)
Having a quiet visit with just my other half his year - but then have booked for this time next year to go again with our close friends
. Never been 2 years running before - retirement has its good points.

So sorry your friends have had to cancel. I haven’t got my insurance yet because I am waiting for my next heart scan and consultation and hopefully not much has changed. We're staying at Riverside this year (love this resort) and Fench Quarter next year ( love this resort even more).

Yes we stayed at FQ last year for the first time and loved it as well. We are staying at the WL next year which we never thought we could afford and so excited about it. I will be able to drop in MK anytime to get my All American Ice Cream

We arrived at PO Riverside on Thursday after a slightly delayed flight from UK expected the storm to cause us issues -but nothing. Reading and hearing local news yesterday and today I hope that all my WDW magic friends are safe and well and have not been affected by the hurricane and following weather. My thoughts are with you all that may live in the path of Helene

At Riverside and following instructions on how to cope with hurricane Milton- not our first time coping (although previous were much weaker). Hoping that any of you who may live in the storms path stay safe!
