Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

I hope they will open the Adventure Way/English Gardens area by next spring - independently of when Frozen will open. I don't think there would be any need or benefit to wait if that area is ready earlier. They still could keep most of the bay area closed and just connect towards Cars Road Trip. Would be a welcome change and new open space after all those months of narrow paths & construction walls.

I was thinking the same thing. It would open up the Cars Road Trip dead end, and be a nice area to just meander in.

I’m aware. But if they really wanted it open by the Olympics they could have. Covid is just an easy thing to shift the blame.
As far as I remember. Since Covid though they completely re-thought the WDS expansion. The plans had been for two full lands open in time for the Olympics, which was 5 years away when they announced it.

Frozen stayed but Galaxy’s Edge was cut. (And that’s the reason I remember - I was so excited for GE to come to DLP).

In under a year, everything shut down. Construction was banned. What DLP did do using their own staff was a lot of maintenance, touching up, repainting, gardening.

Once they re-opened, Avenger’s Campus was the focus, whilst they rethought the lake expansion.

That said, that was 2 years ago. So I don’t disagree with you entirely.
