How bad have the wait times been since the switch???
Similar to how the attraction was before they added the third track. How bad have the wait times been since the switch???
And many, if they allow themselves too, will find out that it is a godsend. Fastpass is evil.
They will complain, but, before long they won't be angry about it and they will understand that it is a much more pleasant experience overall. They'll just complain about how they had to wait in line like the rest of the normal folk.
Only one report so far that someone was able to book June 25th. Someone else tried to book and wasn't able to yet. Seems they are still working on that. Non-CL guests have not been able to book for May 8th or beyond. Not sure if this has been posted yet in this thread.
Fastpasses are available from June 25th onwards for TSMM, including opening day. This from people booking the CL extra FPs.
No reports yet of earlier availability.
They need to charge for all fastpass use or get rid of it all at once. That is the best solution for everyone.
All they have to do is have everyone have their credit card information linked to the MagicBand. You come up to Big Thunder - scan band for $3.00 and you get in line. This could get rid of FP and just stand by but you pay to ride each attraction. Admission stays at current price.dont give them any ideas
they are probably moving in this direction anyways
So... You want to go back to the ticket system but without limits. That's not too wonderful. Also, a big thing Disney tries to do now is to keep the thought of how much this is costing far away from the main thoughts of guests. This is why the Dining Plan exists and why paying for more days at once costs less, with the only exception being merchandise. Speaking as someone on a Royal Caribbean cruise right now, I'm terrified of doing anything because everything has an upfront cost to it. Sure, it had a lower ticket price than a Disney cruise, but I'm bored out of my mind because I don't want to spend more money. Just imagine if every choice you made in a Disney park had the same issue. "Sorry son, we can't afford to ride space mountain again today, we have to keep our budget intact." It may have worked back when there was no/a small entry fee because it didn't cost a year or two of savings to get there and in, but nowadays it's bonkers. All they have to do is have everyone have their credit card information linked to the MagicBand. I 100% truly wish they would and hope they do. It will help tremendously.dont give them any ideas

Just saying the are heading that way. It would be hard to keep track on the MagicBand the $$ you spend. That’s why I don’t use the band to pay for anything. I wish they would do away with FP all together.So... You want to go back to the ticket system but without limits. That's not too wonderful. thats insanity
pay 100 bucks a day or more, then have to pay extra for each ride.
and we all know no ride is going to cost just $3 bucks, heck you cant even buy a bottle of water for that cheap at the parks
Amazingly, of all the charges they have been doing lately, charging for a FP is the least objectionable of them all. It will not be long and, since they won't stop it completely because it is yet another cash grab, I look forward to having it happen. The percentage of FP users would drop considerably and standby would start moving again. I'm all for it.dont give them any ideas

Yes it’s an extra 3 on top of the usual 3. So they can have six at a time. I believe though that they are only able to book the extra 3 at 90 days and not all 6 but I could be wrong.I'm a little confused on the Club Level FP's that they charge guests $50 for. Does that mean they get an extra 3 on top of the usual 3? So they can hold 6 at a time? Am I confused on this, which I very well could be. I'm sure it's not widely used, but it seems a little ridiculous to hold that many at a time.
But I think paid FP is what they should do at this point, make it day of only, not 60/90 day booking windows, that's ridiculous to me. Though I wish it would just go away as if it never existed.
You never know. They keep doing all of these upcharges. Nothing will surprise me.thats insanity

I don't understand how people don't understand this!! I will never pay for fast pass but I want it to happen in the worst way because everyone will win in the end.Amazingly, of all the charges they have been doing lately, charging for a FP is the least objectionable of them all.
