The Coaster track is done. How are we still a year from opening? I've seen Paris, they could ship the theming in in a few days. Coaster testing doesn't take a year. Buildings don't take a year to build. Concrete doesn't take a year to pour. What am I missing?

The coaster track is installed it is not done. As pointed out in the video they now need to level it and then grout every support . Even if they can get the work done sooner, which I can't deny it looks like the could, they have continued to say Summer 2018 so clearly they have a reason to stretch it out that long. As has been discussed many times, the time it takes Disney to build something is determined more by how long they want it to take, then how long it actually could take.

I hope it is because there are some wonderful secrets not showing up in the artwork that they will be working on for the next year.
