Hard to tell since they still insist on running it in the dark. I'm not sure that any dust, dirt, debris, light bulbs out or non-working AA's would be visible. They really should turn those lights on... bad show! :cautious:

It's that one section of missing track the worries me.

Jokes aside i sware i feel the lower underwheels on the back of the train lift up off the track when you reach the crest of a hill. I assume they use the traditional 3 wheel set up? So i know if so its impossible to come off the track but still feels like it.

So what's up with the Space Mountain lighting? I've seen a couple of people mention it, but I seem to have missed what's actually new about it.

EDIT: Never mind, just found the thread.

It's so great to read some positive news about poor old Tomorrowland. I really like the new Carousel of Progress sign - vintage and classy. I think the metallic blue paint on the rocks looks great too. Personally, I've kind of wanted a steampunk-future makeover of the place, sort of a fantasy-based view of the future, based on the optimistic expectations of the past. I'm not sure how the parks can express the world of tomorrow as a theme anymore, since things in the real world change so quickly. But anyway, these new little fixes mean a lot. And I'm with those here who want a new track, at the very least, in Space Mountain. The current version is a chiropractor's dream. :p I rode it a couple of years ago and vowed never to ride it again. My neck hurt for like an hour afterward.

As for Buzz Lightyear - I haven't ridden it even once. It SMELLS like mold! :0

Walked into the queue, took a sniff, walked out. I'm allergic to mold. I know it when I smell it. It makes me very ill, so I got outta there in a hurry!
Mold? In a hot, humid climate like Florida? That can't be right and your time in Florida must be almost unbearable. What does mold smell like anyway? I have smelt something odd about moldy cheese, especially "blue Cheese" but other then that I have seen mold, but, never associated any particular odor with it. The other problem when saying that about the Buzz queue is that one of the major problems with the queue is susceptibility to constant breezes that blow papers, dirt, etc. into the queue area. Constant circulation of air is something the mold does not grow well in, so I have to wonder. Maybe someone left a used baby diaper there or something. That would make it pretty ripe, pretty quick.

Mold smells musty, at least to me, and its presence makes my sinuses drain and my throat swell up. When I smell that mustiness and I get a tickle in my throat, that's when I know mold's around. After I walked out of the queue and breathed in some fresh (if somewhat humid) Florida air for a while, the symptoms abated. I get a similar reaction to piles of autumn leaves and such. I can't even walk into a used bookstore anymore. I bought a book at one once, then got sick, because of the mildew and mold in the book's yellowed pages. It wasn't obvious that the book had mold in it, BTW, but it was there, because when I got sick, I suspected the book was the cause; after I got rid of it, I got better. Mold is everywhere, even in Florida. It has to be pretty concentrated or close to me for me to be affected by it, apparently.

OK, I understand that, but, you kinda condemned an attraction that has no water in it because of mold when it is probably the norm in every building in Florida. I just wonder how you manage to deal with it, seen or unseen. You don't have to answer, it's not really important, it's just that it would seem to me to be a never ending problem in central Florida.

I honestly have had very little problem with my allergy while in Florida. Mind you, I don't live there, so I have no idea whether or not it could develop into a problem.

Mold is not 'the norm' in every building here. It's really easy to prevent mold here with basic maintenance.

Mold debate aside, the Buzz queue has been disgusting for years

We are about to leave ourselves. The parks actually look really, really good. Best I've seen in years. DHS has some issues but other than that, it was a great time. I noticed tomorrowland looking better than it has in a while.

I agree tomorrow land was looking nice this last week while we were there too, the only thing that bothered me still was the Space Station projection on the Alpha side of space mountain and the audio sfx were not always working on space mountain. (though the music was which makes me very happy)

The current track is the best! A little bit bumpy.

I agree the current track is great. Yeah seat 4 can sometimes get a little bit of "air time" after going up and cresting the first couple hills. I am glad they slowed things down on the last drop still though. Before they did that, the turn into and out of the reentry tunnel was much more brutal.
