Coming back to this, some minor detail:I may have asked this a while back, but did all of the PeopleMover track support cladding work get done? What about any other minor refresh stuff they were doing?
Ew. It’s not committing to either aesthetic and it just a nonsensical mess.Coming back to this, some minor detail:

Lots of the same trolling that people repeatedly get sucked into.Lots of opinion there.
Looks like they lost their nerve (or budget) and decided to leave the cladding and paint it? Ugh.Ew. It’s not commuting to either aesthetic and it just a nonsensical mess.

That's an interesting angle.Agreed! They're at least six times as good as a triangle!

Several months ago, I said we're going to have three different Tomorrowlands. 70's TL by SM, some weird mostly 90's TL in the middle, and a weirder 70's/90's combo TL in the front.Ew. It’s not commuting to either aesthetic and it just a nonsensical mess.
Here's what the Stitch Entrance looked like in 1992 when it was still Mission to Mars. Nothing like the current "retro" paint job.
I was just there and the aesthetics of Tomorrowland are...terrible...you have this brand new sign, a few painted walls (why did they cover the art in Star Traders???), and some exposed/unexposed supports all over the place.Coming back to this, some minor detail:

$$$$$This thread started off 4 years ago saying that there was a push to get the land fixed up and working again, when did it change from that to half ripping out 94 elements to the mess we have now?
As far as I know the Facility Ops people who worked on this beforehand haven’t been called back, and have not been given a timetable to come back yet.Any indications that they will continue with the “light refresh” they started- the painting and de-cladding? Martin said that the refresh was due to having someone who actually cared in management at Tomorrowland. I’m guessing said manager has been furloughed?
It’s okay. I still blame my parents for not taking me on the EPCOT Center monorail preview tour in summer 1982.Both valid.
That still doesn't change my opinion, though.
So this was an in-house project? I assume Buena Vista? As far as I know the Facility Ops people who worked on this beforehand haven’t been called back, and have not been given a timetable to come back yet.
See, I would have been okay with that one at age 5!It’s okay. I still blame my parents for not taking me on the EPCOT Center monorail preview tour in summer 1982.
It was their in house maintenance team doing itSo this was an in-house project? I assume Buena Vista?
Thanks. That’s what I was afraid of...As far as I know the Facility Ops people who worked on this beforehand haven’t been called back, and have not been given a timetable to come back yet.
