Are you talking about the time Phil Holmes cut the budget to prevent a track replacement? I’m confused.
Don't worry, you aren't the only one. There's reality, then there's what JT talks about.

Yeah. These look a little too authentic retro, imo.View attachment 424038

Gosh, this color scheme... I thought they were going retro-inspired, but still more or less do stuff we in the 21st century would consider modern. This is starting to look more like a literal recreation of a Mid 20th century future. (Are those signs vacuum-formed!? Can I get a Slurpy in there?)
Is this all part of a nostalgia-fueled plan for the 50th?

I mean, I gotta admire the chutzpa. It's like there's some rogue division of WDI here that got authorization to do retro Tomorrowland, but without senior oversight. So now they are like trying to see how far they can go before someone reins them in!
Looks like they hired Hildi Santo-Thomas to do the re-design...I mean, I gotta admire the chutzpa. I'm also a fan as it makes the theming of Tomorrowland interesting again, at least for me.Those signs are gorgeous
And fit perfectly with our 70s Tomorrowland
The inside looks terrible.I don't mind the signs but the store needs more...70s era theming? More then white and silver. The old TL had splashes of color throughout while still being primarily white. The store is lacking that.
It's only a matter of time...Have they gotten around to hot-gluing thirteen thousand toy spaceships to the wall yet?
It's only a matter of time...
Well they only have 2 days and $1,000 dollars. There's no way Disney can do it in with those kind of constraints.
Forget paging Tom Morrow. Someone Paige Davis!
(I'll see myself out)
Naughty. Very naughty of you!And welcome to another episode of Trading Space Mountains.
What remains of the A.E./SGE v1.5 showbuildings? Are the effects still there or has it been completely gutted?
...without a plan in place to replace it.Apparently it just a massive storage closet. Seats intact. Prime for a new show. Typical. Still don't understand why they closed it.
Timekeeper existed in that state for years, before Disney finally planned a Monsters, Inc. door coaster that became a screen show.Apparently it just a massive storage closet. Seats intact. Prime for a new show. Typical. Still don't understand why they closed it.
Technically the door coaster didn’t become the screen show. They were separate projects and the door coaster was in development after the laugh floor opened.Timekeeper existed in that state for years, before Disney finally planned a Monsters, Inc. door coaster that became a screen show.
