I am absolutely down for this, actually lol.I hope Congress adds the Haunted Mansions to the National Register of Historic Places so it will force WDI to tinker with other attractions for once.

another clip, presumably this is from the final scene. I think we can put to bed the lack of AA on this ride.
Called It!!!! It wasn't Clawhauser after all!!!!!In the corner of this image there is an animatronic figure that has a similar body shape to that of Louis the alligator. The video also teased the introduction of a "new character" perhaps in audio animatronic form. We will see tomorrow...
I've heard sometime around June 19th-21st for Florida via various insiders on the forums, and @SplashMountainArchives says November for Disneyland.I haven’t been following much at all lately so I apologize since this is probably asked all the time, but what opening window are we looking at? Is early June possible?
Damn, was hoping for earlier, thank you though!I've heard sometime around June 19th-21st for Florida via various insiders on the forums, and @SplashMountainArchives says November for Disneyland.
My money is on a Juneteenth soft opening.I've heard sometime around June 19th-21st for Florida via various insiders on the forums, and @SplashMountainArchives says November for Disneyland.
Hyping and or looking forward to TBA doesn’t mean you have to suddenly denigrate or assume everything about SM is inferiorThese looks amazing. Better than anything Splash had, tbh.
I’m not assuming anything. They are in fact superior AAs. LolHyping and or looking forward to TBA doesn’t mean you have to suddenly denigrate or assume everything about SM is inferior
That’s not a fact, that’s an opinion. There are some older animatronics that are found to be favorites or more realistic then some modern ones (looking at you FEA); not to mention aesthetically pleasing is in the eye of the beholder.I’m not assuming anything. They are in fact superior AAs. Lol
Which is funny because this time last year splash truthers were claiming they were going to be cutouts rather than AAs in the ride.
Here are some stills of the new animatronics.

DRUMS?! Were drums the instrument I could not think of?Anyway, there's an instrument with a name escaping me in the New Orleans Jazz Museum that, I believe, Prince Ralphie plays.
You can love Splash Mountain but also love this...I’m not assuming anything. They are in fact superior AAs. Lol

The new model of AAs are undeniably better and more advanced than those from 1992. That’s a fact. They look amazing. Just because you loved Splash (I did too) doesn’t mean you can’t let go and look to the future. That’s not a fact, that’s an opinion. I am not a “truther”, and not sure your need to use that term, as it seems snarky and trolling. This isn’t binary like you’re trying to make it to be; I will really miss SM, and its uniqueness and fun as an attraction, but am I also excited to experience TBA and see these animatronics in person as well. It’s not either or, there is no need to claim factually that EITHER attraction is better. It’s my sincere hope both stand out for high quality
You can love Splash Mountain but also love this...
It's not an either-or thing.
I did love both. Admitting one aspect of the new ride is superior in no way means I no longer love what came before. It’s not an either or thing. You can love Splash Mountain but also love this...

Again, that’s an opinion, not a fact. For some better means more aesthetically pleasing (I find these animatronics to look good about equal to Brer Rabbit and Brer Fox in terms of cartoonish and reflective of the animation medium in a visually pleasing way, yet realistic in movements). Advanced perhaps in the parts they use, but plenty of older animatronics carry realistic movements despite having older parts and what not.The new model of AAs are undeniably better and more advanced than those from 1992. That’s a fact. They look amazing. Just because you loved Splash (I did too) doesn’t mean you can’t let go and look to the future.
